Hermosa Brewing - Torrance

Hermosa Brewing offers a surprising retreat for beer enthusiasts and entertainment lovers alike. Despite an unassuming exterior, the interior opens up to a spacious and lively setting. The venue features numerous pinball machines, a pool table, a dart mat, and ample seating and tables, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. They also serve food, adding to the experience.The private parking lot is a convenient touch, and its proximity to Smog City makes it a great stop for a brewery hop. During my Sunday night visit, the staff was friendly and efficient, though it seemed they were operating with a small team.I tried the Everyday Sunshine beer, a 13 oz pour for $8.50. It was flavorful and reasonably priced, as were all the beers on the menu. However, the pinball machines were the true highlight for me. Be sure to bring cash for quarters or use the on-site ATM if needed, as these machines will keep you entertained for hours (it did for me).Overall, Hermosa Brewing in Torrance is a fantastic mix of great beer, good vibes, and classic fun. Whether you're here for the drinks or the games, it's well worth a visit.

We love this brewery so much ! Thank you for accommodating my birthday group on 2/21 it was a memorable night . If you guys like great beer and classic pinball machines then you will not be disappointed.

Hubbers called an audible and instead of dining at home, he suggested I check out these digs. He's been (with Big Bro and SIL) and he thought I might just enjoy it. Came through around 7pm-ish and this place is poppin'! All the spots on their private lot was taken and the first available street parking was over a block away! We were afraid we might not get an outdoor table since we had the with us. We got lucky: we scored the last one! I wasn't too focused on the brew since I was tunnel visioned with hAngerism. They had a vendor selling burgers and chips so Hubbers out in orders for us and got us brews as we waited. And talk about entertainment: it's karaoke night! Guests were putting their requests in, and although they were pretty good, it's the bartender and the DJ who stole the show! Amazing voices! Our food was ready by the time Hubbers came back with our first round of drinks. They had three kinds of hef's that night (we ended up having all of them - sorry, can't remember the names!) and they all paired pretty well with the grub. (Can't remember the name of the vendor either, I really should take more pictures!) We were entertained as we drank and ate. FOOD: 4. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Private lot and street parking. It gets busy! OVERALL: 3.75. I'd consider it a family spot: there are tons of pinball machines and a couple of old school arcade games. Some brought their kids - as young as a few weeks old. So come down, bring the kids! (But please drink responsibly! Precious cargo!) We had a great time! They shut down at 9pm on weekdays, so if you feel like having a nightcap, this might be a good place to do it!

While I prefer the beers from Monkish down the street, Hermosa Brewing has the better tap room in Torrance. Fairly sized parking lot for concerts and events. Arcade for hipsters. I believe you can bring your dogs here. This is a great spot for locals. Everyone else, stay away from my favorite tap room!

Good selection of beer mostly consisting of IPAs but they do have a few sours. The best part about this place is all of the pinball machines they have. They have around 15 all in great condition. Also had a shuffle board table and lots of space to play board games.

Had a great time there this last weekend. They had a pizza vendor on site with a mobile pizza oven: super delicious. Beer was great. I had the Czech your head and the Ollie Pilsner. Looks like they recently expanded the customer area to a big room past the restrooms. Tons more seating and places to hang. If you're a pinball fan, this is a sweet spot to visit. I think they're up to 16 machines. All in great working order too. We met the owner of the machines while we were there.

Laid back and chill brewery with AWESOME pinball machine set up! We enjoy taking our son, grabbing a beer, and playing some pinball. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and usually have a food truck available. I believe they also have a small pizza oven for personal size pizzas. There are two small lots for parking and there is usually available parking on Del Amo. They are hosting a weekly pinball competition on Wednesdays evenings which my husband is very excited about.

Gonna keep it brief. Cool ambiance (can see brewing equipment, large open front door, side room with arcade games, large bulb string lights outside), reasonable prices, gluten free alcoholic options, and cool staff. Come here for a chill good time. For the non beer drinkers in the house, they offer seltzer on tap now! PRO TIP: ask the bartender to mix half blueberry lemon and half passion fruit. Gives the perfect balance of sweet versus dry. I got it, my friend tasted it and then he got it, you could be the next.

First visit to HBC. After my first pint of red ale, it won't be the last. My lady loved the Notorious Nitro. Their game room features seven state-of-the-art pinball machines and a classic Donkey Kong machine. Good vibe. Good beer. What more could you ask for?Cheers!

Can't come here anymore ever since one of their food trucks caught fire and blew up in front of us.Edit: contained explosion? Having shards of debris hit you is not contained. Instead of checking to see if we were okay, we were never approached. This experience and rating is justified as things could have been way worse.Poorly handled situation, regardless this is your business and it is not your customer's fault instead there is a duty to uphold a safe environment and provide hospitality. My feedback if you do not have a safety precautions in place there should be when contracting independent vendors.
