I've had this place saved for a while and we ended up going here for our anniversary and it was perfect! It is a small intimate place so I definitely would recommend to make a reservation. Service was attentive and they really take good care of you here. The food was some of the best I've ever had. We started off with the French Onion soup which they brought out in a small black pot. The presentation was adorable but the soup was amazing. Everything from the flavor to the crispy baguette. I got the short rib bourguignon and my husband got the filet mignon. Both were excellent but I'll definitely come back for the bourguignon. I read reviews before coming on how good this dish was and it lived up to the expectations.I do have to say it does take a little bit of time for dishes to come out so don't come here if you're on a time crunch. But you can see the chefs from your table making everything from scratch and good food takes time to prepare. This restaurant is worth the wait and we will be back again!

We had this placed bookmarked for a long while. Decided to have dinner after work on a Wednesday night. The place is small and reservations are strongly recommended. The small open kitchen is cool and when the cooking starts going down, the bistro aroma wafts through the dining area. The menu is smaller like a French Bistro, but the choices are plentiful and something for everyone. I started with the French Onion soup. It was one of the better ones I've had in years. The Chef (Brianne) knows her stuff and makes the broth from beef femur bones cut down the middle to expose the rich marrow flavor. The subtle hint of sherry adds to the richness with the gooey gruyere. My wife had the mushroom veloute' soup. That was good but mine was better.I had a hankering for a good bone-in pork chop and it was outstanding. It was a 16 ounces (or perhaps slightly bigger) of goodness and perfectly cooked. My first bite and I could tell instantly it was brined because of the flavor and tenderness. My wife had the scallop and risotto dish and it was very good and rich. The portions are very nice and all the flavors are a French Bistro influence, which we enjoy very much. I was told Chef Brianne spent a little time in France and honed her skills there. You can tell by the quality of the dishes. At the end of our dinner service, she was very nice to come over and chat for a few minutes and give me a few tips on preparation of the bone-in pork chop when I asked. This place is small and not really a good place to bring small children. It can get a little noisy when it fills up and you are close to other tables when dining. The service is relaxed and this is not a place to come if you want to order fast and cram food down your gullet and get out. My wife and I look forward to returning soon on a weekend date night and enjoy a nice bottle of wine with dinner.

Writing a late review from a few nights ago. I really enjoyed this dinner. All of the appetizers were delicious and I actually really enjoyed the bread and mac and cheese in particular. I ended up getting a little full from all of the appetizers and couldn't enjoy my main dish fully but it was delicious. It's so satisfying to get chicken that isn't dry + the mushroom risotto was so flavorful. Service is slow but they note that at the door so please don't give them a hard time! They were especially attentive and made sure to still answer any questions we had. I also really enjoyed the open kitchen aspect and would love to sit at the bar next time.

Celebrated a dear friend's birthday here and was very impressed with the food, service, & atmosphere of this very romantic restaurant. Since we were a large group, we ordered most of the share me plates. Charred cauliflower, crispy eggplant, meatballs, Mac and queso, & heirloom fries. We also ordered, pork chop, pan roasted chicken, filet mignon, and short rib bourguignon. Wine selection was also very good. We ordered Tempranillo, Bordeaux, and Malbec. Our server was super attentive and helpful when we were selecting from the menu. Everything we ordered was so good. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Beautifully cozy dining room with a counter area overlooking the kitchen. Simplified choice of wines offered great choices but not overwhelming for the non-expert like me. My waiter recommended going with the Pinot noir from Louire valley and it was perfect for my lmeal. This was one of my favorite meals of the year. The beet salad had a superb balance of flavors. The sweetness of the beets paired well with the arugula and goat cheese stayed subtle. The Thai curry shrimp appetizer was simply delicious. Curry was mellow without heat allowing the flavors to complement the large shrimp which was perfectly cooked. My entree was the bone in pork chop. It was seared which brought out the great flavors of the accompanying Brussels sprouts and fingerline potatoes. The sauce was delicious and the almonds created a nice texture. I like my chop a little less well done but it certainly did not stop me from cleaning the plate. I tried my wife's chicken / risotto which was good but I was much happier with my pork chop. Topped the night off with a yummy sea salt crème brûlée! Our waiter was attentive and a great shout out to Lucas for his personable service!!

Excellent staff and food. The ambience is so cozy when you walk in. Dim lighting with twinkle lights against the walls that give it a very intimate feel. The wait staff made sure there was not a single crumb on the table after every course! We started with the street corn croquettes which were tasty and had a little spice to them! The sauce they were paired with helped offset the spicinessNext we had the Cesar salad which was one of the best I've had, the dressing was very tangy. Comes with more of a softer style of lettuce than your typical crunchy Romain and the croutons are huge. We also had the French onion soup which was so hearty with the delicious melty cheese on top. Main course was the short rib entree which was pull apart and melt in your mouth! Came with mushrooms, and asparagus. Overall very impressed with this place and will be back.

Date night consisted of crispy eggplant with burrata (my fav cheese so can't say no) and street corn croquettes (bf chose) to start, short rib bourguinon with yummy cippolini onions paired with a glass of dolia for me and Prosecco for him as our entree, topping our meal off with an amazing sea salt creme brûlée thank goodness the entree and dessert saved the meal, because starters were good, but nothing exceptional but it was nice just getting out together for a bit. On the fence about whether I want to make a repeat visit here though. It was good not exceptional

I'm not a good critic in the slightest, honestly I tend to enjoy pretty much anything and everything, but it is rare that a place completely wows me. This place wowed me.The place is gorgeous, and sitting at the bar watching your food being made was an entire vibe. This was easily the best pork chop I've ever had. But everything else was great too. We got the crispy eggplant, meatballs, and the scallop risotto as well. Everything was great.

At first, I was worried about booking this restaurant for our anniversary due to the previous reviews about service and wait times. So we booked an early reservation at 6PM. Our previous plans ended early and we got there at 5:30PM to which they still happily seated us. Our server Lucas was friendly and hospitable the entire night. I started with an Italian Spritz (8.5/10) which was very tasty. We also had the Crispy Fried Eggplant (9/10) which I thought the eggplant could use some more seasoning but it was the perfect bite when paired with the tomato, burrata, and pesto. French Onion Soup (10/10) was divine and I will be missing that broth. I had the Scallops Risotto (9/10) which the risotto was a bit more on the al dente side, but was still amazing. The scallops were perfectly cooked! My husband had the Short Rib (10/10) and it was rich and tasty. We ended with the Salted Caramel Creme Brûlée (9/10) and left feeling satisfied. We can't wait to go back to this cozy and lovely restaurant! Restroom could've used some more attention to detail. Overall 4.5/5.
