Food: Absolutely amazing. The flavors in each dish is to die for. You will reach taste buds you didn't think you have!Cocktails: The Not So Spicy Margarita was a hit. If you like a good Margarita, I suggest you ordering this drink.Service: Extremely attentive and thoughtful. Robert, the owner, made his way to our table and chopped it up with us until we got our food. Ambiance: I was quite surprised to know that it was an old reconstructed theater. The ambiance inside is great. Good music, great vibes. Loved it

Ever since seeing the breaded pork chop with the onion soup on social media, I knew I wanted to come here so we made a reservation for Valentine's Day. Our waiter was great and the service was wonderful! Our waiter explained to us that the items go from smallest at the top of the menu, to biggest at the bottom. My husband and I thought this was a clever way to set up the menu as we hadn't seen it before. We ordered the Cats Meowth and Pink Pony Club for drinks and really liked both. For smaller dishes we ordered the shrimp tacos and chopped salad. The shrimp tacos were a highlight of the night! So good and so flavorful! The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The salad tho had so much radicchio in it that it drowned out the flavors of the salami and pepperoncini. I think less radicchio and more "winter greens" would have been a better combination. Then we got to the main course. My husband ordered the oxtail and I was finally going to get to try the pork chop I'd been looking forward to. The oxtail was delicious. It had so much flavor and was falling off the bone. We both really enjoyed it! The pork chop tho did not live up to my dreams, sadly. The breading on it was good and crisp but it needed salt after it was fried. For the onion soup part, I was expecting more of a traditional onion soup with a rich beef broth and lots of caramelized onions. Unfortunately mine barely had any onions in it and the rich beef broth flavor was replaced by red wine. I was disappointed that it didn't live up to my dreams. Also, why was this served with rice? I get it that it's to help absorb some of the broth but the pork chop is so big and breaded/fried that I would have really liked some broccoli or brussel sprouts to go with it, not another carb. Last, we got to the dessert. It was a hard choice between the strawberry cheesecake and the chocolate bundino. We went with the bundino and were both really happy! The salted caramel flavor was perfect and the contrast between the crunch or the "granola" and the smoothness of the mousse was wonderful! Definitely would recommend. Overall we liked Griffin's and would come back for a special occasion and with different menu options to try.

Decided to trek out this way to try this restaurant and it was just ok for me. I went in one late mid week late afternoon and there was no one in the front to sit me but it was ok. I was looking for bar sitting. The servers and bartender were nice and attentive when i sat at the bar. There was maybe one other table sat and another person at the bar. The layout of the restaurant is kind of weird, split into two parts. They have a patio area as well. The food was alright for what i got. Their version of espresso martini tho had a weird lingering after taste. I like mines a little more espresso taste.Overall (3.5/5)

Bartender Abbey took excellent care of me. She knew I was killing time so I didn't have to deal with rush hour traffic. Her happy hour drink and food suggestions were so spot on! The strawberry cheesecake parfait is the bomb!! Very swanky ambience. Highly recommended!!

Make sure you make reservations! The people who walked in before us didn't have reservations & they were told they couldn't be served. The couple next to us said they were first sent away too. So, they walked out, made a reservation on Yelp, walked back in, & got seated! For having such finely crafted seasonal food, I thought this place would be a bit hoighty toighty, but it was actually pretty rustic feeling, with a casual vibe. Sarahi greeted us quickly, asked if she could get something started, answered a few questions, & politely chit chatted with us. She told us that their menu is seasonal & described what was popular at the moment. The gnocchi carbonara was soft, with a rich, creamy sauce, yet the bacon atop was nice & crunchy. It was so delectable, I closed my eyes at first bite to really take it all in! The oxtail was so tender, it almost fell off the bone. It had a tangy, vinegary sauce that perfectly contrasted the deep, rich flavors of the meat. Having white rice with it is the obvious choice, so the plain rice can soak up all the savory sauce! The brussel sprouts were crispy on the outside and tender inside. They came with a mildly spicy sauce, similar to a buffalo sauce, & also sort of a homemade ranch sauce. The burrata was very FRESH and paired so well with the crostini & herbs. My husband enjoyed the IPA & I loved my non-alcoholic sparkling passion fruit lemonade! All of the items we chose were delicious - It's obvious a lot of thought & care went into to creating this menu!

TL;DR - Good service & a moody atmosphere, heavy & rich food (albeit a little pricy but nothing unheard of these days). Great for special occasions.Arrived 5pm on a Sunday with my girlfriend. We had a reservation but the restaurant was empty, although it did pick up in customers by the time we left at 6pm. There's some parking behind the back but we parked at the structure across the street & walked over.--InteriorDim & moody. I imagine it would be a bit brighter earlier in the day but I felt it was also a little bit too dim & it was slightly hard reading the menu's small lettering.Lots of tables, there's a bar area with TVs & an outside patio area as well. Speakers play pop music. --ServiceOur server Sarahi was very nice. Made some recommendations for drinks & food as it was our first time there. She & who I believe was the manager checked up on us the entire time.--FoodThe food is kinda pricey here, but we came at happy hour which had small discounts to some appetizers & drinks.*Meatballs [5/5] - came with 4 surprisingly large meatballs with a meat sauce with what seemed like pulled pork in it. Great flavor & worth it for happy hour pricing.*Brussel sprouts [4/5] - cooked well with a zesty flavor & the buffalo & ranch sauces elevated it.*Oxtail [3.5/5] - tender, came off the bone, & good flavor but a little too salty for my tastes. If they could dial it down slightly it would've been perfect.*Ribeye [5/5] - very juicy & melts in your mouth. Definitely worth coming just for it. The chimichurri sauce & veggies can be a little much but you can control how much you put in each bite.--OverallNot too many complaints other than interior being slightly too dark & oxtail slightly too salty.Although the prices are on the higher side, all of the food we ate was rich & had good portions. Definitely felt we got our money's worth & recommend checking this place out for a nice. night out or special occasion.

My second visit to Griffin's and both times have been very cozy, welcoming and memorable! Service is always above and beyond here!Let's start with the drink's. I ordered a Kentucky Heat -- bourbon based, it has a slight kick to it but the drink was fantastic. On my second visit, ordered an Old Fashioned with my choice of Bulleit Rye Whiskey and came out really nice. The food is 5/5 -- portions can be a bit bigger but can't complain, because the quality of the food is good! My only wish is that they had more options for food. The service and staff have been friendly and kind! Always making sure to check-up!

The place was empty on a Sunday night which is ashamed. Both service and food were good. It's very spacious inside and decorated nicely with TVs at the bar for people who want to hang out with friends to watch a game. The menu was small but had great options to choose from. We ordered the following to share between four ladies:Brussel sproutsYellowtail crudoMeatballsOxtailRibeyeBlackberry cakeBrussels sprout was delicious with the buffalo sauce. Yellowtail crudo was refreshing and seasoned well. Meatballs were really juicy and yummy with the garlic toast. Oxtail was delicious and quite tender. Ribeye was cooked perfectly and broccolini was delightful. BlackBerry cake was a little weird. The clove icing was not pleasant with the cake. The combination was not a hit with my friends either. Overall, we had a good dinner, but some of my friends thought it was just a little too much meat and we should have ordered a more balanced meal.
