Called to make a reservation for a large group, they recommended to pre order dishes and to put a deposit via Zelle. Portions are large enough to share, loved their bulalo soup, chopseuy, crispy pata, lechon kawali, fried chicken and BBQ platter plate. Everything was delicious and service was good.

Pleasantly surprised! Clean ambiance, and relatively quiet lunch morning when we came. Ordered pork sisig, crispy pata kare kare, bbq beef lunch plate, and bagoong rice. And guess what... DELICIOUS. The pata is on the medium size but perfectly tender and crispy! The pork sisig could've been done better, but not bad at all. The bbq beef plate is such a deal. Tasty bbq! The bagoong rice is delicious too, with generous portions of shrimp! The lady server was nice and accommodating. And I love how the dishes are really fresh and they cook it there and then. So the waiting might be a while, but it's great. Will come back to this place when craving for Filipino food in Artesia!

12/2/24 So much better this time around, shoutout to Megan, our fabulous server who made our dining experience phenomenal!First off, I inquired if they will charge for vinegar, and she said No. She was surprised that we were charged for it last time. Megan was very friendly & accommodating, I felt we were in good hands. My mom was craving Miso Sinigang again & it was her idea to dine out tonight. Met up with her & dad, my brother & his kids, & my other sister. We ordered family style: the Sinigang, lechon kawali, chopsuey, fresh lumpia with sauce on the side, calamari, beefsteak Tagalog & pansit, of course, steamed rice. The best of all the dishes was the lechon kawali, cooked to perfection, seasoned well, it was paired with Mang Tomas sauce (which my dad happily took all for himself) but the rest of us preferred to dip it in vinegar (free of charge). It was so good! Piping hot! The sinigang was also delicious, fairly tart & sour enough to get the seal of approval from mom (I want mine very sour). The fresh lumpia was a tad salty, even for my taste, glad we requested the sauce on the side). Beefsteak was good, needs to be more tangy for our taste. Calamari was pretty good, the breading wasn't overly done, it comes with aioli sauce, again, we dipped ours in vinegar. I didn't taste the pansit, Hubby said it "meh". The chopsuey was average, I didn't care too much for the cooked carrots. Overall, we enjoyed this dining experience because the food was pretty good & the service by Megan more than made up from the last time. Open mic started before our departure--kinda cool. More patrons arrived because we were the only customers when we arrived. I love the decor that is reminiscent of the Philippines although with a modern take on it. Parking is shared among Cafe 86, Suisa '& Sons, and Fresh Catch, along with other businesses. Thanks, Megan! Exceptional service!

My first time and I loved the crispy dinuguan- the chicharon bulaklak and dinuguan combination is so good. The Kare kare too- after me and my friend finished the 1 cup of rice each , we still had leftovers to go. The restaurant is clean and service was fast and they are very nice. Parking was easy. Location is beside Cafe 86 and Luisa and sons so lots of Filipino goodies. I will definitely go back,

Went here for dinner with my family. And it was so yummy! Well except for the bulalo which the meat was tough. But the service was friendly and great. The rest of the food we ordered came out really well too!

Parking lot is shared with several restaurants and businesses. Restaurant is clean, nice sit down feel, friendly service. There are tables & chairs, a few booths. A nice relaxing Spotify music list playing ;) We came on a weeknight for dinner so it wasn't busy. The pork bbq skewer and original kare kare was my fave. Bistek tagalog and lumpianitas were yummy, as expected. There are so many casual to go Filipino restaurants, it was nice to have a little more elevated sit down experience. Nice date night with the hubby.

TBH the food was great, no complaints at all. We ordered a bunch due to a group of 15 ish people. My favs were crispy pata, Kare Kare, sisig, bbq platter. The service was on the other hand was unfortunately not too great. It seemed there was only one server servicing our table and the rest of the restaurant. Ik she was trying her best but the owners should step up and have one more server or runners/assistants to help out. Not once did they check up on us and had to flag them down for drinks, more bowls, utensils 20-30 min receiving our food. We would stand behind the bar or whatever to request for items but was completely ignored for about 5 minutes. Maybe visit this place in small parties of 2-3 to have a better service experience. I def don't rec coming here in bigger parties even with a reservation or heads up.

Their dishes are so flavorful and authentic Filipino. I am so proud to recommend this place to other Filipinos. Service is prompt and efficient. The description of items in their menu is really as they say it is... excellent... I'm so glad my sister was craving for Pancit Molo and her craving for it brought us to this place...love it.

Green Banana Leaf is inside a plaza, can be chaotic to find parking on weekend lunch hours as it is near other popular food/ drink places such as bopomofo and 86 cafe. We ordered arroz caldo ( Filipino chicken ginger congee ), it is pretty good! I like the gingerly taste and warmness. We also ordered the pancit ( stirred fried rice noodle with pork ), the portion is large and we take the rest home after. The combination with the rice noodle, cabbage, pork , green onion and shrimp is pretty tasty. Although the shrimp is a little bit smaller. Service is pretty good, the lady is friendly, ask to refill our water, saw our table is a little bit dirty and offer to wipe it down for us. Inside they have a karaoke stage, and projector of music videos, music is lively. We went during lunch and haven't seen people on stage but the music is soothing to hear. Inside the restaurant is mostly decorated green and red theme- like Christmas lol. Would recommend this place!

Walked in to this eclectically decorated restaurant that was a bit dated. The place was busy but we got seated right away. It took a bit to get our order placed which gave us an inclination on what to expect of the service (which unfortunately was on point). What we didn't expect was the generous portions of the food. The tasty and crunchy lumpianitas were so good! Couldn't get enough of it! The flavorful and tangy pork sinigang had just the perfect acidity and was delicious! These were our favorites of the meal. Came in second was the bangus sisig. It was good but just had too much bell peppers that overshadowed the flavor of the fish and made the dish a bit mushy. The pork adobo was also good but just a tad too oily. What was surprising was the bland pancit bihon, which was our least favorite. Overall, the meal satisfied our craving for Filipino food!
