What a wonderful experience my husband and I had at Great Tiger Ramen. We arrived on a busy night but were seated promptly. We had a seat at the bar where we watched the cooks / chefs making the ramen. Everyone gets complimentary edamame (delicious)! We ordered for appetizers, the veggie croquette. Tasty. I ordered the Shoyu Chicken Ramen (Green Onion, Spinach, Woodear Mushroom Braised Chicken, Egg) and it was amazing. Probably one of the best broths I've had! Everything was fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered the Vegetable Miso Ramen and also enjoyed it tremendously. Overall - a wonderful experience and recently recommended it to a friend who was in LB visiting!

I'm craving Ramen, but too lazy to drive to Torrance, or Gardena area. This place is on my list for a while now and I'm so glad I did. The food definitely exceeded my expectations. The Bao's are moist and flavorful. The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen definitely the spot. The broth is full flavor. The service is attentive. Clean and inviting inside.,Go out and show support to this neighborhood restaurant.

Small place, but has plenty of seating. We were greeted right away. Service was good. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen. This bowl was a 10/10. Perfect amount of spice. All the toppings were delicious and went well with the broth. The noodles were perfectly cooked. Definitely will be coming back to try the Pork broth ramen. I also ordered the sesame chicken, 10/10. The dipping sauce was great.

I believe I found this spot on Instagram Reels, and no regrets! I got their Black Tiger Ramen and swapped the chashu and ground pork for tofu (the broth is still pork). It was SO good! The spice got me for a second, lol. I also ordered two of their fried chicken bao buns, which were super delicious. The meal came with complementary edamame. The atmosphere was really cute, and I thought the layout was nice. There's a small bar section with Japanese art and posters where you can see the chef, which adds a sense of transparency. My two female servers were very kind, and my main server kept checking in and offering raspberry tea refills.I went alone, and when I used the restroom, I left my canteen on the table. Unfortunately, the busser thought I had left and threw away my ramen, which I had only eaten about 15% bc I prioritized the bao buns . I was sort of embarrassed & confused since there was still a lot left. Luckily, they were all super helpful and gave me the option to get a new ramen to-go.Overall, I'd definitely come again - it was worth the hour & a half trip!

A very strong ramen choice in a city where the ramen competition is getting fierce. Awesome service! The servers were friendly and attentive but also considerate and mindful if we were doing fine and just wanted to enjoy our conversation. The ramen came out pretty fast and the place was packed on a Monday night, so they must be doing something right!I got the Red Tiger Ramen, which I was warned was quite spicy and that they could make it a little less spicy if I wanted. I like spice so I just asked for it regular, and I will say, it was plenty spicy! Not where I couldn't eat it, and it actually was pretty smooth. Kind of like that hurts-so-good kind of spicy. I loved that it seemed to be a chili oil which sits more on the top and is more easily mixed than a chili powder that is added, which can produce that effect where it just gets hotter and hotter the lower in the bowl that you get.My wife got the Vegetable Miso Ramen and loved how many veggies were in there and how the miso was present but not overly salty. We also tried the fried chicken Bao buns as an appetizer. These, if not the star of the night, were definitely the surprise of the night. Perfectly fried, crispy, juicy, well-balanced. Salt, fat, acid, heat, the whole package. Try these! My ramen was $20.99, which was not inexpensive but I got half an egg, crumbled pork AND pork chashu. So tons of protein plus they were very generous with the noodle quantity and the veggies. I'm a pretty big guy, and I couldn't finish it. I got two meals out of that $20 bowl of ramen.Definitely recommend trying this place. It is a great addition to Long Beach.

Everyone should try this place!!! Please support this place, LBC!!It's at a busy intersection, in this area where a bunch of great little casual restaurants are. The server was so nice and friendly. Very attentive, and he gave good suggestions,They have a promo right now for $3 Sapporo beer and a free appetizer of edamame. The edamame was great with the right amount of salt.I ordered the pork bao bun. When I tell you this is the best bao I've ever had!!!!! Oh my goodness!! The bun itself is so fluffy, it's like biting into a cloud. The pork was expertly seasoned and the other toppings and sauces were sublime. 10/10, I would give it an 11/10I also got the red tiger ramen. It's a great spice level if you like heat but not too too much heat, they can adjust the spice level for you as well if you wish. The mushrooms and bamboo were great. The egg was cooked perfectly. The broth was flavorful - it could have a littleeee deeper flavor in my opinion, but overall, it was a great bowl of ramen. 9/10Everything on the menu looks great. I can't wait to come back and try more appetizers and the fried rice!!

I'm giving five stars to the service, the fried rice, and the delicious crunchy sesame chicken. I was not very thrilled about the Ramen because I've had way better Ramen myself that is perfect to my preferences. I was hoping that I would get the same kind of Ramen however, it did not come the way I expected it to. My girlfriend also had Ramen, but the spicier tokatsu, and experienced a higher than medium spiciness to it. I myself gave it a try and it was a very quick kick to it. I was hoping they would have a build your own Ramen because I feel that I could've perhaps matched the kind of Ramen that I am used to. I will definitely come back to try more of their signature dishes. They set the bar high with their chicken dishes.

Drove down from West Covina area to try this ramen. Let me tell you, superrr yummy! The flavor of the broth to the texture of the noodles, . They also have lunch combos which are very much appreciated for people who want to try different things. The egg is already included without extra pay, which the egg is my favorite part! A complimentary plate of edamame was served at the very beginning, over all a very solid place to come and enjoy some ramen :) Shoyu tonkatsu ramen: 10/10Shoyu tonkatsu ramen w/ black garlic oil: 10/10
