I've been going there for years and they never disappoint! The chicken is always delicious! If you've never had Broasted chicken, I highly recommend it. They also have a good selection of fish to check out. I suggest you order on the phone or through Door Dash. They cook everything when it is ordered, so you know it's fresh! There isn't any where to sit so you can take it with you or have it delivered. They are closed on Monday. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I am fairly new to the area and I discovered this spot less than a year ago while taking a different route home from work one day. I saw the sign and I already knew it was a wrap. This was my third time visiting and this time I ordered a 6pc Red Snapper Combo w/ coleslaw and fries and 12pcs of Catfish Nuggets. I demolished all of it. This is the best chicken hands-down. John is amazing and so helpful all the time. I order food frequently for my work and events on campus. I work at a college. We love grandma's chicken. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Happy to have discovered Grandma's for the first time. Didn't know what broasting is...thought it was a combination of broiling and roasting...incorrect! Broasting is cooking in oil under pressure, like a pressure cooker. What results is an amazing fried chicken that tastes great, is super crunchy, but doesn't have all that grease dripping from it, somehow tasting cleaner. Don't snooze on the dark meat special. White meat is just too dry for us; the 6 legs, 6 thighs, and 8+ broasted potato wedges was perfect for our family of four. The fried zucchini was less exciting but tasty, nevertheless.It's a bit of a hole in the wall, in a strip mall in Bellflower but well worth the trip. Can't wait to get some again soon.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Glad we finally did. The chicken is juicy and crispy without being greasy. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and not dry. The potato wedges are so soft and creamy. Will be coming again. Don't forget the Louisiana hot sauce

Always drove by here and decided to finally try Grandma's broasted chicken. Call to order, still was fast when i ordered in person. All items fry is very thin and crispy with good amount of flavor. Shrimps could be a bit cleaner but i did not mind considering the price.

Pretty good Broasted Chicken super fresh and hot. Not greasy at all. The Potatoes are crisp and creamy and the Coleslaw is some of the best I've had. Called in my order and waited just long enough to snap some pics of the menu. No frills kinda joint. This place is all about the food. Lots of parking.

Been coming here for more than a few years now. The best to-go, hole in the wall spot for fried chicken. It's fried in a pressure cooker, with perfectly light seasoning to put emphasis on the juiciness, its crisp, and freshness. Service is great, but I do recommend calling ahead; it takes some time since everything is made to order. Get the 12 pc dark meat special for cost effectiveness, and ask for hot sauce and ketchup.
