Goldfish Seafood Market

It's hard to find a place where you can buy fresh seafood in the city. I ALWAYS crave oysters and I'm just a big seafood lover, but I'm too cheap to buy them at restaurants unless I'm in a splurging mood. This was my third time coming to Goldfish to get 2 dozen oysters to take home. They were 0.95 cents each!! The people who work there are so nice, and they offered a styrofoam box and ice for the travel to keep my oysters and the other seafood I got fresh. And they definitely were fresh once I shucked them at home!I came here at around 10am on a Monday. There's a lot of activity in the streets surrounding the market since it's an industrial area. The market itself was spacious, organized, and fully stocked.

I never leave reviews but I received such good service from Goldfish I had to submit one. I recently purchased crab legs for my mom's birthday through their website and the delivery was excellent. Many delivery people have trouble delivering to my apartment building so I called Goldfish ahead of time with instructions. They did a great job answering my questions and communicating on the day of delivery. Every went smoothly and the order was packed professionally. I will definitely be ordering from them again. Got a haul of seafood for Christmas dinner - lobster, crab legs, caviar, and Kumamoto oysters. Very reasonably priced and folks are helpful. There's a huge variety of meats and seafood available. It's fun just to look around. Can't wait to try something else from here!

Great selection of fresh fish, reasonably priced. A great fish market run by folks who know their fish.

Bought fresh Snapper to cook later. Good fresh seafood prices and they cleaned up fish. Weekday lunchtime. Ordered fish tacos while I waited. Fried fish with batter not grilled. Very fresh corn tacos and fish! Clean inside. Friendly staff. No parking lot. Found a spot on 7th street. Warehouse District. Homeless encampments on 7th Street sidewalks.

Woke up super early on a Saturday for some oysters as I had seen they showed a few choices, however, when I arrived, to my disappointment, there were only pacific oysters. I wanted a variety but had to settle for that. I was expecting better prices on the other seafood as well, however, they were high. I've seen better prices at a grocery store nearby. It seems they also prepare and sell fresh mariscos. Not sure if I would return seeing their prices.

We came across this place by accident as we took the wrong turn! Sometimes you come across places you never seen or heard of. So we went inside and asked if they had calamari. Yup they did and since we found what we wanted we said what the heck let's eat some lobster. Best call of the day! My wife had the carne asada quesadilla.. the lobster plate was delicious. They carry blue fin if you order the day before just an fyi!

The fish is really fresh and staff is really nice and helpful in suggesting what their specialties are.

Went by with coworkers on lunch and this place is very nice. Employees working there are really friendly and the food was great. We got fish tacos, shrimp tacos and ceviche. This is gonna be our new go to spot.
