Don't let the look of the exterior fool you. Golden Wall had great reviews, but after looking at Yelp pictures of the exterior, I wasn't sure. We took a chance and are very happy we did.The restaurant is fairly small, but clean. We were greeted immediately and ordered our drinks which came quickly. We are pescatarian and found a great variety of dishes that met our dietary requirements.We ordered the salt and pepper fish, and Kung Pao tofu that wasn't on the menu.. Both dishes were incredible. Large portions, hot and tasty. Perfectly prepared.The servers are very friendly and accommodating.Highly recommend Golden Wall.

Our local go to Chinese Food! They have super tasty and fresh food, all made to order. They are always friendly and when we get delivery they are sooo fast! The ambiance is very family friendly yet cozy enough for date night.

I used to work here and I would eat the food in the back of the kitchen so here is my fair review. Back in the day when Ted was the owner, he ran a pretty tight ship. The guy was cool and he paid us fair. He fed us a lot of the times too. I can't complain about the original orange chicken, Mongolian beef, or the beef and broccoli dishes. As much as it was packed with sauce and high levels of MSG, the food made you feel good. When ownership changed, things started going downhill. It's not the same Golden Wall we once knew.

Delicious food in a welcoming environment! Service was fantastic and the food was very flavorful! My wife and I split a four person family special and we have plenty of left overs for lunch and dinner tomorrow. Very well worth a try!

Our family has been going to Golden Wall since 2015. This beautiful restaurant has so many wonderful memories we keep close to our heart. Our hostess is always polite, welcomes us in, and sees us promptly. The variety and quality of food is so rare to find these days, if I could rate it 6/5 starts I would! The chef's work so hard to put out phone orders and dine in, they're awesome! We love Golden Wall and hope it stays around for as long as we do and more! Thank you!!!

This restaurant has been a go to for our family for decades. The food is healthy and well prepared. We enjoy the large menu. The workers are very attentive and courteous. I like how they decorate the restaurant during holidays and they make you feel like you're at home. I recommend the lunch special. It's really a great bargain for all the food you get. I like to get the garlic chicken and I always take home leftovers.

I love coming to this spot with my husband. We enjoy having the dinner for 2. The food is always so delicious and it comes out hot and fresh. We have also ordered take out and it has been great service. We do enjoy being able to come in person and dine in when we can!

It was Valentine's Day, too busy at work for either breakfast or lunch. So what happens - arrived home hangry that's what. Luckily after 33 years together - nothing done good Chinese food could fix. Place was busy. All tables in hot demand with plenty of grub hub drivers picking up. Considering all that service was still rather quick. The staff and the kitchen are super efficient. They know how to get the orders done. The Mongolian beef is great. Super tender. Hot sour soup is hot and tangy. Everything is top notch fresh and will delight your taste buds.

The food here is really good. Big portions and kind people. This is my first time back in the restaurant since they were only doing takeout during the pandemic and it's clean and nice. There are only 10 or so booths so it feels cozy like you're in someone's house. The website prices are mega outdated-- the dinner for 3 is now ~$35. Dinner for two for my husband and I consists usually of one or two entrees and the chicken lo mein. We like the broccoli beef and cashew chicken (we usually get easy bell pepper because they're not my fave. Not because it's not good, just too much for me). Support this small business and get better food (though for a higher price) than any other fast-food Chinese.

We were a little skeptical about looking for Chinese food in La Mirada, but we were happily surprised by the lunch menu at China Wall. The food was quite good & the lunch menu comes with an egg roll, salad, & a choice of soup (hot & sour or egg flower). We also received fried won ton skins as an appetizer before we ordered. Chinese food catering to an Americanized palette. The mapo tofu wasn't as spicy as we'd expected but good nonetheless. The Szechuan eggplant was tasty, and the fish fillet with mixed vegetable did not disappoint. We were happy with the service. The waitress wasn't super friendly, but she knew her stuff & brought the food quickly. It's located in a strip mall, so there's a huge parking lot.
