What a great seafood dinner at this well loved Mediterranean and Italian restaurant. Had the whole grilled sea bass stuffed with onions tomatoes garlic etc. It was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The owners themselves attended to us and made the experience wonderful.

The moment the pita bread hit the table, I know everything is going to be good, the pita bread is fresh, puffy and crispy, so delicious with the garlic sauce. However, they still managed to surprise me. The food here is excellent! We got the butterfly shrimp and kabob entree, shrimp is very flavorful, kabob is seasoned and grilled to perfection.Everything is house made. You can taste the effort they put into all their dishes. Owner is super friendly too. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Sad to leave this review but the service was horrible! We've enjoyed this place for many years and always had pleasant service. The food is wonderful, but they recently raised prices and lowered service.I invited my family to meet here for a special meal together. We did not have any odd requests but the lady serving us was very rude and almost seemed angry that we were there!We asked for ice water but they only sell water bottles, so I went to my car and got water bottles for my family. What restaurant does not serve water??I do not want my 5 year old daughter to think that is how we should be treated. We will not eat here anymore.

1-18-2025 We - one of my gfs and I decided to venture to this establishment for a late lunch.She had the golden platter and I opted for the filet mignon and lamb kabobs combo. Lots of choices on their menu. Our food was served quickly and flavorful.Not much ambiance. Just six tables. Definitely casual.This place is on Warner, across the Jack in the Box on PCH. Behind the gas station next to Subway.

We came to Golden Olive because we were craving Greek food. This is not a Greek restaurant. It is a Mediterranean style restaurant with Egyptian influences. The restaurant is a mom and pop operation that sits in a strip mall. It is also next to Subway Sandwich Shop if that helps. We entered and we were greeted by a lovely hostess/cashier/server. She was excellent. My cousin ordered the shrimp and chicken platter and I ordered the falafel platter. The star of the show was the pita bread. It came out fresh and hot. I eat this bread forever!!! It was so good. My cousin loved her food. I didn't like my falafel because it had sesame seeds on them. My hummus was bland and the dolmas (grape leaves) were stuffed with a flavored rice I didn't care for. I still gave them a 5 because the food was fresh!! I will definitely comeback for that pita bread and I would like to try their pasta dishes.

A hidden gem in Huntington Beach. Small family owned restaurant that serves quality Middle Eastern food!The filet mignon (medium-rare) entree is my go-to order every time. The meat is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. This entree is served with a generous portion of fresh pita bread that always comes out piping hot!Today we decided to try their Seabass on their new seafood menu and it was very good as well.Highly recommend adding this to your next food adventure!

Chicken and shrimp kabob platter = A+The pita bread tastes like what I imagine manna would've tasted like back in Moses' day. Pros of social media: Orange County Reddit and the recommendations they give for certain food reccs. Sometimes I'm a little cautious because I know there's a lot of trolls out there who love being sarcastic so I made sure to confirm with Yelp first to look thru the menu and pictures prior to coming.Can't wait to come back with my husband! I learned that they've been open since Dec of 2013. It's great to see them doing well and providing such delicious food for the community.

We live kinda far so we don't get to go very often, but any time we're in town we make a point of ordering from Golden Olive. We love their kebab plates especially and their fresh-made pita bread is out of this world. We did our engagement ceremony at the beach and we ordered Golden Olive for the occasion. Where can you get Mediterranean food better than this? Maybe you could get as good for twice the price somewhere?

Here's aThe restaurant has a lot going for it, but there's room for improvement. The food was okay--not the best quality. The beef was a bit barren, but the portion sizes were good, and the bread served alongside was fantastic.The service was polite and friendly, though they seemed a bit understaffed during peak traffic times.One of the highlights is definitely the location--being right next to the beach with such a great view really adds to the experience.Overall, it's worth a visit, especially for the atmosphere, but there's potential for improvement in food quality and staffing.

Ordered take out today, the rice was good but they put apples as the side for the plate. No hummus, no pita, no veggies. The beef was also a bit dry. The man taking our order was nice but the food just does not match what we expected for the price. Not awful just below what we anticipated!
