Golden Bird Chicken

This location was just ok. This was my first time at this Golden Bird. However, The chicken was hot and fresh but the yams, fries, and biscuits were very bland with no flavor. The fries were overcooked and hard. The service was good. The place was clean but it needs to be upgraded with paint, flooring, and new tables. Very outdated decor.

It tastes just like the old golden bird. It tasted just like my childhood. The chicken was tempura crunchy and seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be going back

CPT in the building, best onion rings around, this my neighborhood and they got the best thing going takes me back to the 80's (Central/ El Segundo). Staff cooks to order some items so be patient, their customer service is neighborly and the inside is clean. Order inside or use their drive-thru. If you want to eat at one of the best chicken places in town, stop in one to one of the staples of Compton CA.

Chicken is always fresh and do s crispy. Dudes are on point. Very convenient when at the nail shop across the way. #MYGOTOO

The food was just like I remember from 20 years ago!!! The Golden Bits were amazing!! The service was quick and friendly.

Service in drive through was awful chicken had been sitting for hours. Will not be back.

Ive heard so many great things about Golden Bird and after driving by it so many times i finally went for a try . hardly looks open at times however when i did go i had a chicken combo with greens ,and mac and cheese The Chicken was wet battered yet very bland the mac and cheese was dry with no flavor , greens had no flavor but the only thing editable i heard this was a popular black owned business i didn't see or taste anything to distinguish the previous statement and not to mention how over priced it is for terrible food the service was friendly yet i will not be back very disappointing.

Horrible! Ordered chicken, yams, and mac and cheese. Yams were not even cooked all the way and disgusting. Not sweet and no flavor. Just awful. The mac and cheese looked old, like it wasn't cooked today. Also lacked flavor. The chicken was just ok and the cornbread was hard and flavorless. I will NEVER eat here again.

Their chicken is always good and tasty. I tried the fried chicken gizzard. It surprised me. It tastes so good. I haven't found a similar item anywhere else. High recommend.

I went to Golden Bird Chicken a month ago and the man that was cooking was very nasty to me so I went back to try them again he had the same attitude and told me he didn't like me and he wanted me to leave. All I asked about was how long have the chicken been cooked and I also asked about the vegetables, macaroni cheese, red beans and rice. The lady that worked there told me that they don't cook it that same day it's been cooked for like 3 to 4 days and that's too many days. and it wasn't clean all around food and have no good taste you or anybody I would not go there at all if they have an A They don't deserve it
