What went well? Everything. Kind service. FRESH fish. Lots of interesting roll options. DYNAMITE. Hand rolls. All things I have collectively been missing for YEARS!!!Sushi in a state that borders the ocean, in restaurants in cities that are close to the ocean = 1 billion xs better than inland sushi. Until they start teleporting fish, you cannot convince me otherwise.This restaurant is in a grocery store center so parking is not going to be an issue unless you are lazy. We unknowingly were here for happy hour so the check was a nice surprise but the prices were also shockingly reasonable. It's got that "Cheers" vibe so you can come watch a game on the giant tvs. Seating is standard, sushi bar, tables, booths. SUPER glad we listened to friends, who don't even like sushi, and came here for dinner.

After standing and staring at the staff who never greeted me for 10 minutes, I walked out. I can see they were understaffed and that's why I stood there for so long, but they treated us as if we were an inconvenience. I will never go back.

Besides the servers not checking in on us we had a great food experience here. Just full warning, the service is slow. I don't think it's intentional either. I just think it's how they roll, which is fine until you need to order more food or drinks. We enjoyed every roll we got. Double Tiger. Hot Dragon. Play Girl. We also really enjoyed their Spicy Pork. Edamame was average. Plenty of seating. They even have a patio. They play spots on their tvs, which is nice.

Such a gem in Lakewood. Great happy hour price! I got there around 8pm on a Wednesday night, but it's still Happy Hour! Great food, really nice rolls. Their Baked Samon is so yummy! I like everything, just their imitated crab seems overused in multiple dishes l, as I prefer other fish meat instead. They have AYCE which is a great option too. Plenty of parking! FYI it's right behind Von gas station, but it's not bad a sushi place!

First, started coming here about ten years ago and I was impressed. Today the rock and Roll was very salty, cucumbers was less than fresh. Mussels were flat. The sushi didn't have that WOW factor as before. Too bad used to like this place but even the 50% off can't bring me back

so here's the run down of this place: I can admit the service could be better in the sense that they are not super friendly, but they are NOT rude . The correct term is introverted.The ambience just gives older restaurant/mom & pop. we do have games playing and a projector as a big screen, which is nice.The food is really good considering the price, I got five rolls and a miso soup for under $40. They have daily happy hour from 11:30 AM to 9 PM. I have never had any food that was not good! Overall i give it a 4/5 stars.
