Left a mediocre review about 6 months ago. been back one time since i was in the area and im so over this location. terrible service, manager rude & forgetful. sad. they ask you if you want something and never come back with it or they just completely forget about a table they're serving !!!! super great! i don't plan on coming back ever.this used to be the original GGC but they sold this location and moved to 2nd street. makes sense of why this one is lousy while the other one is perfect. go the extra mile to the belmont shore/2nd street one, seriously. 10000000x better.

George's Greek was recommended to us so we went to dinner last night after the Long Beach Grand Prix. Want to say the whole dining experience was great! Ambulance was casual and comfortable. Staff were excellent! And the food, OMG amazing!!! We had the Greek salad to start with George's famous dressing, I had the appetizer plate as my main course and my husband had the lamb shoulder special of a he night. Can't wait to go back again. If you love Greek food, you will love George's!!!!

Great food love their lamb chops and salad and seasoning fry potatoes with cheese. Definitely will return!!

I ordered catering from George's Greek for a large family party and my order was ready on time, was correct, and everything was delicious!

Wanted to give a shout out to Janet! Just picked up lunch for 10 to take to one of my accounts. She made sure that everything was done right!My account was super happy to get a great food for lunch. I was happy as my food was ready on time and as ordered.Thank you George's for hiring such great staff. Janet was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and great with follow up! Hoping my customers are hungry again soon!

BOOK. NOW. Every single item on the menu is top notch. I know this because they let you try each thing during your tasting. This five star review is not just for the food, but for the impeccable service. I have eaten at their restaurant, used them for my wedding, and various showers and parties- I'm blown away every time. Whenever anyone mentions our wedding, they are usually talking about the lamb chops. The food is fresh, and wonderful, and you need it at your wedding. And while I would pay a premium for this food, they are so, so reasonable. Just do it already!

Great food, dodgy service. Walked in, seated right away asked if I'd like something to drink. I requested water. It wasn't brought to me until I requested a second time from someone else. After waiting about 10 mins, someone came and took my order. The food came very quickly! I requested an extra side from the server, it didn't come. I requested it again from another server and waited. Finished my meal, still waiting. Finally got the extra side.If you have plenty of time for a leisurely meal, go! Good food, nice folks! If your time is limited and you can't afford to ask twice and wait - you might consider going elsewhere.

Food is tasty, fresh, generous and very reasonably priced. Service is exceptional. Budget options are crowd pleasing and there is something for everyone.

Our 50th Anniversary Party was catered by George's Greek. We dealt with Mike Cuellar to handle the event. He was informative, personable, follow through on everything and extremely professional. We ran into a hiccup the day of the party but Mike took care of it right away. The food was delicious and due to the excellent service we received from Mike I would cater again from Georges.

I'm so disappointed with this place after all these years, they still don't have a changing baby station. Yesterday I had to change my baby on my lap, its mind blowing that in 2022 this restaurant still doesn't have a baby change station in the bathroom!! Parents with small children BEWARE that if you go to this restaurant and you little babies or toddlers you might need to change them on the floor or your lap!!!! Unbelievable!!!
