The food is very good. They have a lot of different flavors. The service is impeccable, very professional. The ambience is pretty good. Note that it's a bit pricy. But very solid date spot.

If you're craving tacos and a fun vibe, Frida Mexican Cuisine might be worth a visit--though it comes with some highs and lows.Let's start with the food. I stopped by for happy hour and tried the $3.95 tacos. The carne asada tacos were absolutely the star--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The Al pastor tacos were decent, with a nice touch of mango slices, red onions, cilantro, and a lime wedge that tied it all together, but they didn't quite match the richness of the asada. The chips and salsa? A must-try! The green salsa was perfection, while the red mole salsa had a smoky, irresistible kick. That said, the appetizers were a letdown. The sopes were dry and served cold, making them hard to enjoy, and the quesadillas lacked both flavor and effort in presentation. The taquitos were the saving grace of the platter.Unfortunately, the drinks didn't live up to the hype. I had high hopes for the mango margarita, but it was watery and lacked the punch of a proper taco Tuesday cocktail. A little more care here could have made all the difference.Now for the positives: the service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of with plenty of chips, salsa, and napkins. And the ambience? Truly a vibe. The decor has a tropical feel that makes you feel like you've stepped into a Cancun getaway. The bar area is lively, with TVs for sports fans, and the overall setting is colorful and inviting.

Pricey. Food was okay, but portions were small considering the price tag. If you look at my photo, I paid over $20 for this plate, and a third of it was left empty. Two smallish enchiladas and a small scoop each of beans and rice.The restaurant looks like it would cater more to a happy-hour or after-work event crowd.The chips with green and red salsas were good though!

This is a very good location and casual environment for a group outing or date night. The restaurant seating is in an "L" shape as you enter, the hostess and bar area is the first thing you see. Walking forward, turn right for the main dining room. On the right hand side is a nice patio area, well lit in the evening and nice umbrellas for protection from the sun during the day. They do have lunch and combo specials priced at $14.95. I ordered the chicken mole tacos, which included two tacos on corn tortilla and a scoop of rice and black beans. We also had the pozole with the fixings (sliced radishes and shredded cabbage), along with crispy tostada shells for dipping in the savory broth. There is plenty of free parking in front and nearby parking structure. The entrance is located beside the entrance to the Del Amo Mall. When I come here, it is for a day or shopping and dining. It is a very popular shopping center with three levels of stores and other eateries. Enjoy time with family, friends or a solo outing when shopping for a gift, clothing, jewelry or shoes (for example). You are sure to work up an appetite! Don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!

Frida's at the Del Amo Fashion Center is a gem! Their all-day happy hour in the bar is a vibe, and Taco Tuesday specials make it even better. The chicken mole tacos are next-level--rich, flavorful, and a little addictive. Honestly, can you even do Mexican without a margarita? Their house margaritas hit just right. Sit bartop if dining solo, their bartenders are amazing! Frida's is the perfect spot for good food, great drinks, and an even better time!

This restaurant is a fashionable Mexican establishment located in the Del Amo mall. Although the decor and atmosphere are very nice, the food itself is overpriced and is either average or of above average quality. Additionally, this is one of those places that gives you big plates and only puts food on 50%-75% of the plate. The service was also very nice. I ordered a molcajete Frida which includes steak, chicken, chorizo, panela cheese, avacado with roasted tomatillo salsa, corn tortillas, white rice, and black beans. There's supposed to be cactus but it never came with it. It comes in a specialized hot bowl which, despite its nice presentation, just makes it a pain to eat out of. Much of the food gets stuck to the bowl which means you're scraping half the food off the bowl. Overall, you're here for the atmosphere and great service, not the quality of the food.

Came here for lunch with coworkers on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty empty therefore we had no wait time. Service is quick and very straightforward. I got the lunch special taco combo which was a perfect serving. I will say they are very generous with their serving of meat, the tacos were loaded! It was empty due to it being Monday at noon but I would come again to get a sense of ambiance on a Friday evening and the location here is very nice. I recommend the dish I got 4.5/5
