Fresh & Meaty Burgers

Great food...good customer service and a totally great experience!! Plenty of seating.

I love a good burger and trying new places. I pass by this place all the time so I was always very intrigued to try it every time I did. I finally got the chance to try. Parking is pretty easy as there is street parking or at the complex is connected to. It's huge and spacious with a lot of room. The service is great and I believe it's black owned (didn't know that). The burger was good itself. I got the meaty burger with cheese. The most important thing to me is how the burger patty taste. For me it has to have that homemade, old school burger taste. And this one had just that! I didn't really care too much for the fries though, I've had better. I definitely recommend.

The best homemade fries I've had. And The "meaty turkey burger" was very flavorful. Like others mentioned the wait is just exceptionally too long for burger and fries. I'll visit again but definitely call in my order ahead of time. Oh yea, The music was a vibe!

In town and I wanted to hit a restaurant on the way to sightseeing, something different than what I can get at home. My cousin brought me here and I'm so glad! Black owned too!Soul food burgers, whaat!?! The burgers are fresh, hand patted and such a variety. Not to mention you get a lot of toppings to choose from without an additional charge. The owners were actually working the front counter and cooking. She thoroughly explained the menu, encouraged us to use our Yelp coupon for a free fry, and brought our food to our table. I'm not much of a burger eater myself so I was ecstatic to see catfish on the menu. The rest of my party enjoyed their burgers.

This place, oh this place has nailed that homemade burger tasteI ate my meal smiling all the way through. Burgers are so juicy & tasty like grandma was in the kitchen cook'n with love I knew I was in for a treat as soon as I Sat down and pulled my burger out and saw that foil wrapping. Then that yellow burger diaper sealed the deal. I almost forgot to pray in anticipation of my first bite. It was juicy, and a very meaty burger. It was seasoned well with the proper ratio of garnishments & condiments. 9.8/10 one of the tastiest burgers in So. Cal. Everything was fresh quality ingredients including those delicious French fries. My fries were seasoned well & they use real potatoes, no chemical stinks here. Imagine in & out fresh cut fries but thicker and seasoned well. Ask for your crispy fries & your burger medium & you will not be disappointed.Lastly, staff were courteous and the restaurant was clean & vibing with great music. Oh please plan to wait up to 20m for your order, quality fresh ingredients take time. Trust me, it is worth the wait, this IS NOT fast food, know the difference folks! There are a few TVs to enjoy sports, etc. Like Arnold says "I'll be back"

I went to Fresh and Meaty in Carson today,I had the turkey dbl meaty burger with egg. Let me tell you it was the best burger I've ever had! The turkey was very well seasoned and the patties were so juicy and meaty. The name of this restaurant says it all. My family ate turkey burgers as well and we all were very satisfied plus the fries were bomb and the lemonade. We will be back soon. The customer service was great also. Thank you F&M

Caution when using Groupon. I don't want to talk bad about this place because me and my coworkers come here all the time to pick up food for dinner. They got the best fries and burgers. I rarely complain about service ever but today was too much. Everyone likes saving a few bucks and I'm no different so I use Groupon. This establishment does some shady practices when it comes to using Groupon. In my past experiences I would get notifications that my Groupons had been used and to leave a review. This comes as a shocker to me because I didn't use the groupon and gets me worried about being hacked or scammed. They will still honor the Groupon but I think it's shady. I think they do that so you will forget about your Groupon and not use it. Today I used a Groupon for 'Solo Bolo' which comes with One Meaty Burger Special that includes (1) 6 oz Burger with your choice of Beef or Turkey, cheese is included at no additional charge, (1) Fresh Cut Fry, and (1) beverage. I asked for no pickles, no onions and to swap out the American cheese for cheddar. To my surprise when I got my burger I noticed it was the baby burger which was only 3 oz. It also had American cheese with pickles and onions. I brought it back and gave it back to them. I've been waiting for over an hour already so I went back to check and the crazy thing was that they never even remade it. Wtf?! When the cashier finally tried to ring me up for a new order she started arguing with me about the size of the burger. I showed her the Groupon clearly states 6 oz burger but she refuses to offer me the 6 oz burger. I even handed her my phone to show her. Then the cook comes out and starts asking me to show him the Groupon as well so I did. Then he starts given me attitude like he wasn't the one who made my order wrong and the cashier for putting in order wrong. He then tells me that I can wait another 20 minutes or come back another time. I told him I was already late for work and that I will be back another time to get my burger. But he was being so rude by pressing me for an exact time and day when I will be back. I have never experienced such behavior from all of the employees at any establishment before. They had no reason to be so rude when they're the ones that are incompetent at their job. Not only was I late but I also left hungry and dissapointed in people. These young kids need to learn to respect other people as well as their job.

i came to fresh & meaty and waited 2 hours for some cold and nasty food! i went back the next to let the owner know and he got mad at me for complaining! th food was still nasty after he remade my order! nasty food nasty onwer nasty service

The food was average nothing special nothing big and meaty that's for sureService was average no special greeting no Smile no service excellence Now the ambience this is something to report while I waited for my food. In the dining area sat a man and said the F word the S word D word the P word the L word the J word the k word! You're getting my drift here, right? So load I wondered if everyone there was hard of hearing...repeating the words loud over and over and over did I say over I was so uncomfortable. I wanted to cancel my order so finally, I went to the counter and asked the owner or relative of the owner she said "no there was a code of conduct there maybe go outside and cuss your head off mister? she must've been so afraid of this guy. She said no there's nothing I can do. I've never gone back and I wouldn't recommend you go there either, unless you ARE DEAF. Sorry Carson fresh meaty thumbs down.

I will give 3 stars because they are one of only a few burger spots in Carson. But the children running things can be a problem. I'm all for young people working but these kids today need adult supervision.Write the above review after a bad experience a few months ago.Today I tried them again because my sister came over with a burger from here and said the adults were running things today and the burger looked and tasted good. I decided to try again. By the time I ordered I guess the adults were off for the day now I am left with the kids again. This is my last time.
