Fred's Downhome Burgers

While work was being done on our building, and we were staying in a nearby hotel, I ordered from Fred's!Their burger's and fries were delicious!This is the 2nd time that I've had their burger's and fries. In fact, the first time I ordered the burger & fries, my wife tasted a couple of fries and she was hooked!The 2nd time I ordered her her own fries (LOL)

What happened Fred's?! Today just wasn't the day. I ordered the turkey burger with cheese and fries. Usually always good. The fries not good at all. The turkey burger wasn't as well. It was just thrown together...: surprisingly !I'm just gonna chalk it up to maybe the cook just had a bad day today, but I drove way too far for that!!!!!! Let's stay consistent. But I will say customer service was on point like always

My 1st time here, and their busy, but they have amazing customer service. I ordered Jr turkey Buger meal, which comes with home cut fries and drink and my mom order cheeseburger meal.. Each equally good. The burger meat is made into a patty.. I see why this place is called downhome.

My first time trying this spot today and I was very pleased with the Food, Quality, and Flavor.I know they are known for their burgers but I ended up getting a Chicken Sausage Breakfast Burrito I added Bacon to mine for a extra Cost. The Burrito alone was $9.10 but came up to about $13-14 with the added Bacon. The do take a but of time to prepare your order but I cant complain because my food was Fresh and Scorching Hot!The Parking is a bit Tricky However Parking is available on the street. This place can be a Life saver for People on budget as they accept EBT.The Burrito I had was very Filling and I only ate about half before coming back for more later!Overall i would say check this place out if your Nearby they are affordable and the food is Tasty!I Plan on trying a burger next time.. By the way I tried my friends Fries and they were handcut and Seasoned well. SIDE NOTE: If your in a rush Consider Calling Ahead.

The food here used to be a lot better or I should say had more flavor in the past. I got a bacon cheeseburger, large kool aid, and two ground beef tacos. The burger was very big and well put together very neatly. The burger had no flavor it just tasted like a big hunk of meat, I did not taste any seasoning on the patty. The kool aid was amazing I should have asked for no ice because it was mostly ice. The tacos were big, they're not stingy with the meat. The tacos had no flavor at all just tastes like cooked ground beef with no seasoning at all. I think this will be my last time trying this place I need seasoning on my food especially if it's going to be as huge as this food was.

All I have to say is JUICY, JUICY, JUICY!!!!! The fries are perfect tasty and seasoned. Yummy

I found out about this restaurant through my son about two years ago. I visit frequently. I love the place. I'd love the fact that the food taste like it's home cooked. The food is phenomenal and the Customer Service is great as well. I will continuously fall back to Fred's Down Home Burgers when I went to fill, like I did when I was growing up with the family! 5

I hadn't been to Fred's Down Home Burgers in over 10 years. I used to live in the house right behind them. I was pleased that everything I had was just as good as it was back then! The main difference was that I had a veggie burger this time, and not a regular burger, but it was good! Seasoned well and flavorful. Service was good, and the fries were better than I remembered!

Best burger in town!! I grew up right down the street. I hope they some how stay around for years to come! I started going to this joint about 18 years ago. My Momma brought me hear and asked me what I thought. I have been hooked ever since! The home fries go perfect with the big meaty burger and they still sell their food for a reasonable price! Everything. The raggedy cashier. Who wasted my time to order having a casual conversation with the customer in front of me. Or waiting twenty minutes in the outdoor conditions provided for subpar food. Or the attitude suffered by said cashier at 2:00 February 18th. I can tell him the guy in front participated in the parade but didn't even offer the special so I could haved saved money and got a drink. Her attitude wouldn't allow. Stop. Wish there zero stars. Someone need to go get they niece for she drive all customers away.
