Fonda Maria is hidden next to stator bros. It's warm and feels like grandmas house. My grandparents love it here. They come often! Abigail and Milton are very friendly and attentive, they really know how to treat my needy grandparents who can sometimes be tough. I do appreciate when wait staff love on the elderly. I've came here a number of times. I personally love the coffee I think it's a 10/10. The biscuit they serve with butter and jelly is a 10/10. The chips are a hit or miss. Sometimes they're fresh and sometimes they're not. Today they were on point. Overall I would recommend every family to come by :)

I love this little restaurant! I had been wanting to try it for a while, since its branding and location are outside of the typical Downey franchise vibe. The service was great and the food was delicious. Definitely has an indulgent energy with large portions and sizing. My boyfriend and I got iced coffees and they are huge!!! Overall it was a fun family outing and I will be back.

This place was GREAT! Food was amazing!! Great portions and very good service! Diego took real good care of me and my friends. Micheladas are fire !!! For the carne asada fries and they put a lot of meat on them! Def coming back!!!

I think I'm addicted to these mole enchiladas! They are DELICIOUS! Every time I come to Fonda Maria, the service and food is amazing. I love this hidden gem, if you haven't tried this place yet I encourage you to do so :)

My cousin loves this place and really wanted to bring me here. She told me the menudo is amazing, so I ordered a large bowl. For me , it was ok. The meat was a little tough. And the broth was not very flavorful. I kinda knew when the bowl arrived and there was not a red hue. I was not too pleased. I didn't want to disappoint my cousin, so I said I liked it, but the bowl was huge (and it was) and cocouldn't finish it. I'd like to come back next time I'm in town and get a different plate. It is a beautiful restauran and the Cafe de Olla is bomb!

Definitely a place to try ! I usually come here for a burrito de machaca ! I also have tried the birria ! Is yummy ! I recommend you go around 11:00am or 11:30am when is empty . It starts getting pack for lunch time ! Service is faster , there is not much waiting time ! Try it and let all of us know ... ;)

Better service, they charge you for every drink. Nothing has refillsWaiter came by once , asked him for 2 can sodas and they never brought them.We're sitting here at the moment and they havent shown up to ask us if we need anything. Food was ok. Place is overhypedDont think I will be returning.
