Let me start off by saying the taste of the food is Amazing but my rating is based on everything else, which is why I rated what I did.We booked them for my daughter's 5th birthday party. We paid over $1,000 for a party size of 60 people. When we asked if the food was ready because they didn't inform us that it was, the first 10 or so people grabbed their food, they said they ran out of the tortillas needed for the big UCE burrito, mind you this is the main reason we booked them because they're known for this burrito. When I went to get a burrito, that's when I was made aware they had already ran out of the tortillas, this was about 15 to 20 mins into serving time. My husband wasn't happy to hear this so he took it upon himself to go and buy more tortillas in order to make more of these burritos. (They didn't even offer to reimburse him for the inconvenience of this) To top it all off, BJ, the owner, came off really rude and stand offish, while one of his sons was nice and would answer any questions we had even when the questions were directed towards BJ. (who didn't even turn around to acknowledge whomever was speaking to him) Then at the end of the service, they packed everything up and left it on a table inside where the party was being held and didn't let anyone know that they were done and leaving. It's a shame because we really enjoyed their food from past experiences which led us to book them for our event, but we won't be doing it again.

Heard about this place, actually tried a cater meal and finally had the chance to try it. Here was my experience on a Monday eveningParking:All depends on the location. This was at a church and across from CSUDH. A general place to grab and go.Feels: The area we were at is cool It was near a church and a university sooo good vibes. FOOD:Big Uce Burrito (Recommend)Deeeelicious. A bombful of flavors from the longanisa fried rice, teriyaki and char-siu chicken, egg, cheese, spicy mayo and that kick from mango salsa. It's well contained and packed with flavors. I'd recommend this for first-timers. My partner and I shared...we still have leftovers!CUSTOMER SERVICE:Super! Friendly people and communicative as well. They were making more rice and keeping me posted on the wait.TL; DR OVERALL:4.5 Stars. Excellent! Delicious food and reasonable prices. This is a South Bay gem and something worth trying. I wish this business the best as I hope to try more of their dishes in the future.Tips:* Follow them on IG for accurate dates and locations.

So I was FINALLY able to try the Uce burrito this weekend. I ordered it with extra sauce and it is literally the best thing I have ever eaten in my life! My next door neighbors are Samoan so I had to tell them about it...low and behold they know you personally. Seems her uncle (who is also my neighbor) trained someone in your family in fighting? And your children go to school with hers. I keep bugging her to have her child bring me one of your burritos...daily! Just hook me up to an iv and mainline me Uce burritos all day, every day!!!! And how dare you take a day off...I need this burrito again....RIGHT NOW! I will name my first born Uce...it has been decided. UUUUUUCCCCCEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!Just a tip, perhaps you should reclassify your business as being Polynesian...not Mexican.

fiyahnesian food for the soul These guys know what they're doing! Nana's bomb chicken was garlic-infused, crispy, and had so much flavor. The fried rice was moist and tasty. The "Big Uce Burrito" was killer. Fully loaded with everything on the menu and really gives you the bang for your buck! Check them out!

Located inside the Gaffey St. Diner as a pop-up, operating on Monday, Tuesday and Friday with fusion of Mexican and Hawaiian. Something that is so unique as far as I have ever seen. I lived in Hawaii for few years and have lived in Southern CA for the rest of my years so both Mexican and Hawaiian is near to my heart. Great execution! Had Nana's Fried Chicken with the works. Great kick to the sauce and the slaw was exactly how I like it. Not overly dressed and well balanced in the flavors. Rice was cooked to perfection. Not too sticky and not too flaky. The other was the Loco Moco Burrito. The gravy was different from most I've had for Loco Moco but was excellent. I liked the addition of veggies to the mix and I would have been happy with even more. The burrito was as big as my dog and I should have just shared that with my husband but I'm happy to have had the chance to try two different dishes. Looking forward to trying more and so happy to have an interesting addition to San Pedro! I hope they can stick around for a while. Get it while you can!

Searching for some killer islander food in the South Bay? You won't find typical island plates or bowls here, in fact they offer a unique blended style of tacos, burritos and quesadillas, with a Polynesian/Fiery flair. This crew is both stationary and mobile. You can find them grilling at several Polynesian festivals throughout the year, or catering a specific event (YES, they will cater your gathering!) and during the week they sell their food locally in Harbor City and Carson. So what's my favorite dish? I love their bowls (which includes rice and a meat of your choice), and my husband is a huge fan of their Big Uce Burrito (a ginormous burrito packed with beef, chicken, fried egg, rice, cheese and their yummy secret sauce) it's so massive! They have sweet and savory island style tacos, and quesadillas that always prevail in filling you up too. They offer special dishes at times, so be sure to check their menu for any new options. These guys pile on the meat, so if you're looking for the perfect protein/carnivore fix, these grill masters could make that happen for you. Follow them on Instagram or Facebook, so you know when and where they're queuing up their food. They take phone orders too.
