Chef's kissEase of order: Fair, I ordered ahead & had menu questions as there were no ingredient details nor did the phones seem available to ask. Cleanliness: Almost pristine. We dined in and the window sills weren't clean. By nature, I leaned on it and my elbow picked up some dirt. Overall experience: .9Will absolutely return and send everyone I know there as well.

This place is good. I brought my mom here because she loves SEAFOOD. So she a whiting fish plate with fries. I also checked in on Yelp and received a FREE SIDE OR DRINK. I chose GREENS CUZ MY OLD LADY WANTED THEM GREENS..LOLl Momma You made it to Yelp.. She said NO PICS But it was Delicious

Excellent catfish, shrimp and Gumbo. Not salty like most restaurants. Highly recommend. Food taste like good old grandma's soul food. A++

Long wait if you don't call ahead first. I didn't mind the wait, but I was very annoyed when I saw an employee sharing photos and chit chatting about some Netflix show when there were 4 or 5 customers ahead of me; all waiting for their food. I had the fish and shrimp plate. The red beans were okay, the fish (sole) was cool (both needed salt) but the shrimp were really, really good!

I was craving fish and my colleague suggested this place. I think the staff were friendly and efficient, but I was disappointed. The dinner portion was really small and the potato salad was really sub par. The hush puppies were good, but really small. The fish was light and crispy, just small. The peach cobbler wasn't homemade and cold from the refrigerator. Cold cobbler is yucky to me. Not likely to return. I was so excited to have fish .

My husband went in there to pick up his order and said the girl at the register was rude and dry. Just Letting you know a sour attitude can ruin the reputation of a good place.

I absolutely love the gumbo! I DONT eat pork and the gumbo is made with chicken and shrimp and chicken sausage. It's hard to find gumbo with no pork. It's slightly spicy but sooo good. Our food was delivered hot and intact.

First timer, ordered over the phone & was done by the time I got there. The customer service over the phone was great and also in person during payment! The portion size is amazing! My plate was filled to the top. I order the grilled salmon & shrimp plate with rice & veggies. Everything was cooked to perfection. Will def be back, & so will my co workers LOL! 10/10.

Great poboy sandwiches. The Frie's grump was really tasty and the portions pretty big.

I guess the best way to start off is with the food. It's OK , I've had a lot of southern fried food from all over LA and I have to say that this one unfortunately is just OK. Now I don't mean it's horrible because it's not it's good , kind of tasty . they give you good amount of portions , and the sides are also good . What I mean is be honest it's a little bland. I compare that to other places that I've gone to and it's a little lacking in the spices department.. you will probably ask, will I go there again? I'm gonna be honest and probably say no because of the fact that I have my spots that I usually go to. I'm not in this area much so I was hoping it would be better to be honest but like I said it's not horrible. It's good I guess I'm just used to more authentic southern fish fry..As for the service, I can honestly say that they were on top of it. They were nice and friendly and they took care of my order quite quickly. I didn't have to wait long for my order. Now the place,,, it's a small place. It's more of a to go place but they do have some small tables so if you want to have your lunch there and relax. that would be cool. Maybe you're not as picky as me and if you're in the area I said go try for yourself . Now this is a note to the owners. Number one "seriously " get a little bit more on the spices department. And stop watering down the sauce. It's not working.. also, go down to Crenshaw and Jefferson and check some of those southern fish fry spots out for yourself because "they got it going on " And if you guys could somewhat match the flavors they have , since you have a nice prime spot, you would be making a killing ..
