Late post but had to share my visit.This is an old school no frills goof old Fried fish n chips place.You walk in to the smell of deliciously fried food hit you in the face. A little like old oil, but fish was soft and flakey fresh.Service was ok, nothing charming from a small mom n pops. Place is very dated but I assume thats what gives it charm?Cash only, one of the reasons I dont come as often.Overall id give the food 8/10 tartar sauce was decent.

Such a gem find! As Arnold said, "I'll be back".PARKING/LOCATION - Located in a strip mall with other establishments, I think the parking lot could get full if a weekend meal rush. I came in during a weekday lunch. Their sign is so subtle and non-conspicuous, you could almost miss it.AMBIANCE - Low-key, nothing flashy, British decor. Just a simple place that serves one purpose - FISH & CHIPS.SERVICE - The gentleman who took my order was very nice. Because it wasn't busy, they fried up my food fresh, so he did let me know it may take up to 10 minutes. No biggie. I can imagine that they have a few ready when it's rush-hours. FOOD - Again, SO GOOD! Their fish pieces are ginormous and 2 pieces with chips was way more than enough to fill me up. Price is high, but what isn't? It's worth it, in my opinion. I took it to go to take back to the office. They thoughtfully poked holes in the paper bag to let steam escape and prevent some sogginess. Fish was light, crispy, not overly greasy. Their tartar sauce was the perfect pairing tot he chips. Fries/chips were good too.

Always great food here. Consistently good. I've been coming here for decades. Family owned and operated. Support local business and eat well too.

i will always need my fix for the fish. i'm hooked. the best fish ever. i came in on 2/22. and i dropped my credit card and one of the customers ran after me to give me my card. i wish the world had me people like him in this crazy world. thank you so much

The moment you walk in you are greeted right away. The entire place smells good. The food is cooked when you order and man oh man when I tell you it's good that's an understatement. The Fish & chips are amazing! Crisp. Golden brown. highly recommended!!

All was well. Was craving actually the old school H-Salt fish and chips texture and flavor and is exactly what ai got. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Was on the go so no pics this time but ai got the Parmesan zucchini (love zucchini) onion rings shrimp 2-Jumbo shrimp and a couple pieces of fish and let's just say that ai will definitely will be returning soon. Didn't get the chips this time because the zucchini and onion rings were a crave. Either case. My only regret is not getting the malt vinegar. Dinning area clean and the service helpful and pleasant. But am glad ai experienced it finally and was not a disappointment.

Food was portioned good I enjoyed how big the portions where however the portions lacked seasoning on the fish and too much oil on the fish as well when I was eating you could feel the excess oil otherwise was a pretty good experience food was super quick and ambiance was nice
