My favorite Peruvian restaurant in Downey. My church group and I love to go to this Peruvian restaurant after church. They have vegetarian options that are so delicious for my daughter, which makes her very happy. I love the steak, rice vegetables with french fries underneath. it's absolutely delicious. I recommend Five stars.

This restaurant has a very nice feel to it. I like the decor and the vibes. They also do community events which I appreciate. However, the food itself I felt was just ok. Not as flavorful as other places near the area. Service was good.

Good food, good ambiance and amazing customer service. The restaurant has two aji options, one spicy (green) and one super spicy (orange). The servers are super nice and friendly. The quality of the beef is great, soft, and tender. The Aji verde has a kick and it's definitely addictive. I would definitely go back. The prices are still very competitive.

I grew up nearby and I have never been and now I regret not finding this place sooner!! I found this spot on Yelp. THANK YOU YELP!! It's soooooo good. We were looking for a restaurant that was sort of in the middle of us and friends in Whittier. And I am incredibly glad we find it. Their food is really good. The restaurant had tons of seating and I love the decor, and the staff is so nice! I ordered the lomo saltado, my husband ordered the aji de gallina and our friend ordered the chaufa marisco. We were all so happy with our meals!! And A+ for a kids menu!I cannot wait to go back the next time I am in town.

Fernando's is a homey Peruvian spot hidden in the corner of a strip mall. My friend and I needed to meet halfway from OC and SGV and this seemed to work for what we needed. I arrived first - was welcomed and seated right away. They start you off with an herby and fresh aji verde sauce and small slices of French bread - save it to eat with your meal! I had the parihuela seafood soup so it was a perfect match with the soup. The soup had plentiful pieces of varied seafood, shrimp and fish, but the broth was a bit bland. My friend got some kind of fried fish - if you like fish n chips, you will love these crispy little nuggets!Overall restaurant is comfortable and staff is cordial. The portions are pretty generous too. If you are in the area, at least try it out!

First I got to say the restaurant was nice and clean when you come in, very important to mention.Second the service was amazing we had Liliana as our waitress and she was very attentive.And third and most importantly the food was 10/10I got myself a bistec a lo pobre and it came with fried egg, rice, fries, fried plantain, fresh salad with a very yummy steak. I'm definitely coming back to try more! I went with my kids who got the chicharrón de pollo and they loved it! (Sad I didn't take a picture they ate it before I got to it lol) For drinks we all had Maracuyá and we all loved it! New favorite drink for sure!
