STEPH JUDGEMENT: Decent diner that should be open later. Even with their proximity to Alex's Bar I've only been a handful of times over the years because when I want their kind of food it's usually very late and they're closed. Recently, though, the hubby and I happened to be at a matinee show at Alex's Bar and our tipsy, hungry selves were delighted to see that this place was open. We shared fries, onion rings, and a grilled cheese sandwich and we agreed that they were quite magical. Now, I've never been THAT impressed with their food before so I don't know how much of that impression was due to our drunkenness, so your actual mileage may vary.

The fact that someone burned ground beef and still put in a taco and sent it to a Customer who was obviously trying to support their business says a lot! The first thing it says is don't ever order from here again. It also says they don't give AF about your food or their business. They make a decent burger with a good char-grilled flavor. The fries are nice and go well with it. Breakfast is not bad (scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns) and will get you started on the day. It's clean, the service is friendly, the get your order correct and the prices are corner burger joint affordable. Fair amount of parking spots which is rare in this area.

I ordered the steak breakfast burrito because I'm looking for a place to get one on a basis of needing such food in the morning. It was a good sized burrito. The steak was good, as were the eggs. The hash browns were crispy but might have been well done. Their salsa is good but not overly hot. The place is kept clean but has notions of being a classic divey place. This one will be kept in mind for other food items in the future

Came here on a Sunday around 6:30 no wait and plenty of parking and seating. Service was good we we arrives they were wiping tables, AC was on, and lady who got our order was nice and repeated our order. Been here a couple times but most recently we ordered the family pack hamburger combo. I only ever had the burgers and fries here I would say they are good! Drinks you serve yourself they don't have Coca-Cola fyi. We took it to go but you can dine in or drive thru. Taste wise fries were fresh and good amount of seasoning. They added yellow peppers and ranch for each burger. The burger size is pretty big. The reason for four stars is previous times service was okay but this time it felt like under new management and they stepping up lol

Let me catch you up on some history with this place. We used to go here all the time before the fire. Then after the fire they fixed it up. We started eating here again, but it just wasn't the same. The quality was going down, the speed of the orders were very slow and the accuracy of the orders were off.We stopped coming here for a few years. Then one day my gf said let's order from Famous Burgers and try it out again. I am glad we did. We ordered from door dash and the food was accurate and hot and tasty.I have to say this place has gotten way better now. Speed and accuracy, even the quality has increased since the last time we came here.The burgers are delish, their french fries are so good. My mom ordered a carne asada quesadilla and she gave me a bite, wow that was cheesy and the meat was tender and flavorful.If you ever stopped coming here, now is the time to return. The food is good again.
