Etna Fish Market

I used to live in LA and now live in Sacramento. My hubby and I came to LA on vacay and I knew this was one of the spots I wanted to take him to and it was just like I remembered. The fish was fresh, seasoned, and overall delicious. I had the red snapper and hubby had the catfish nuggets and hush puppies. The wait was about 25-30 minutes as they cook everything fresh and it was totally worth the wait. We let the trunk down in the jeep and soaked up the LA sun outside while we waited for our food. We drove from Etna's to Mid Wilshire and the food was still hot and fresh when we arrived to the hotel to eat. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good fried fish.

Eat a fish market has been here for years! There aren't many hella clean fish markers that don't smell fishy and this is one of them. You can tell the employees here are very clean and tidy. Fish has always been fresh and my favorite is Combo#1. Highly recommend this you buy we fry place. Although the prices have gone consistent up, I'm always willing to fork up a little extra money for a clean and good place like this one. Hands down of the best hush puppies I've had. They have a nice kick with some pieces of jalapeño. Fried Oysters are always a big hit...but regardless what we you buy here you will it be disappointed.Best fish spot in the hood hand down!

Came to this location for a friend. Haven't ate from this location personally but based off the feelings of a friend of mine, it must be pretty good. Not too much to say except that the food looks pretty good. It's time for a personal experience of my own. It all depends on what they fry the fish in.

Fish was great. The service was good. The place was clean. I would try them out again soon.

One of the best fish market in the westmont area. Customer service is cool sometimes you can't understand but over all nice people. And never had a bad meal from there over 30yrs going. Shrimp and fish is seasoned to perfection.

They get 3 stars for the jumbo shrimp being 5 star quality. dassit. Without fail, time will pass and memory fade and my silly self will make the mistake of ordering some sole or snapper and end up having to spit out most pieces as they have some of the most horrid fishy cleaning product taste ever. The jumbo shrimp never ever misses and the seasoning is amazing compared to the fish. So crunchy. They skimped my hush puppies last time but those are fire too. They speak English just fine over the phone and my food is always ready in the 20 they quote.

First off YES YOU CAN USE EBT!!!!! You buy , they Fry!!!! Secondly the food is cool to order so it's FRESH!!!! I ordered the 4pc fish 8 medium shrimp with 2 sides for $18. This place was a slight bit more expensive than imperial fish but it was easier to get in and out. The food was fresh, hot, crispy and just good!!! Unfortunately they don't have package Louisiana hot sauce they give you some jalapeño sauce so bring your own hot sauce if you're an hot lover like me!!!! Overall I will definitely continue to come to this place!!! I ordered the red snapper fyi
