ESBC The Slice and Pint

Need an excuse to get off work early? ESBC has a two slices and a beer special that runs until 4pm - the best tasting beer and pizza combo in the South Bay. If trying to decide between the Redondo and El Segundo locations, go for El Segundo - it's not as loud and hectic.I've enjoyed most of the different pizzas on the menu. It helps that the staff does an excellent job giving out suggestions with a really positive attitude. More than once, an extra slice has magically appeared in front of me!

Walked in on a busy Saturday afternoon. A friendly young man smiled whilst answering my first-timer questions and taking my order. I asked if the bread pudding had raisins. Thank goodness he said no because I REALLY hate raisins. Welp, I don't know if it actually does but sure looks and tastes like it. The bottom was dark/overcooked which gave it a burnt aftertaste, and the rest of it was mushy. Wasn't even sweet, and that brown sauce tasted weird too. Basically inedible and a waste of 9 bucks. I tell you it takes alot for me not to finish a dessert, and I trashed atleast 75% of it! The "slice" of pepperoni was ok. I did like the crispy texture but again, not the best flavor. I swear the pepperoni even had a hint of what I like to call "dirty bar towel" smell. So if you're into that kind of thing go for it. The fountain dispenser is located right in front of the bathrooms so you get a nice whiff of whatever germs are floating around when you go to get your drink. Classy lol. Can't speak about the beers but seems there's a good selection. Probably a good reason why it's so busy on weekends. Hard no for returning.

Service was great! Their pizza was just meh. My friend and I were excited about the idea of bringing our own bottle of wine and just paying the corkage fee. Well worth it if you bring a nice bottle. Their corkage fee was $20. Not sure I would go back. Really big fan of pizza so I'm always exploring new places to find those 4 star+ spots :p

Quick and simple spot in Downtown El Segundo. It seems like a local favorite. Their slices come from pizzas that are premade and get heated up once you order them. It is more on the expensive side, but it is good if you like thin crust pizza. It is also amazing with a side of ranch! ig: @cravingswithcat

Yum! REALLY YUMMY PIZZA!!My group ended up trying the Pepperoni Pie, Belle Isle, and Cheese Pie. Each pie was so different and ended up being a favorite to someone depending on their taste preferences. However, everyone agreed that the plain Cheese Pie was EXTRA delicious. You can tell a lot about a pizza place based on its plain cheese pie. You KNOW it's got a great pizza if adding toppings actually deters from the flavor, as opposed to the other way around. The Belle Isle was good for a white pizza and the Pepperoni pizza was delicious and classic. BUT THE PLAIN CHEESE PIE was perfect in its simplicity. A good ratio of cheese to sauce to crust. The crust was great and the red sauce was PERFECTION. Robust, acidic, and a truly delicious red sauce.I'd absolutely eat here again!!

What a fun spot! I picked up a pizza to go late on a Thursday night and the vibe was still vibing in there. I couldn't see the whole place from the pick up counter but there are lots of different rooms, indoor & outdoor seating, and lots of TVs- the PERFECT spot to watch a game.The pizza was good too! Got a cheese with added on peppers and such. It tasted similar to other sports themed pizza restaurants. Crunchy crust!Would love to come back and dine in to enjoy the atmosphere and a pint :)

Clean and casual brewery about 10 min drive from Play del rey beach. My group came around 8 pm on Sunday and there was ample street parking.We ordered 3 pizzas for 8 people, which ended up being the perfect amount of food (2-3 large slices per person). I had the white dog which has lemon and pesto and it was delicious. A perfect balance between the crispy hand tossed crust and the creamy cheese and sauce. Service was pretty quick as well.

Visited with a friend right after we got off the plane at LAX and was glad we did. We had some lagers which were absolutely delicious and each had two slices of pizza. Firstly, I have a great love of anywhere which will sell you pizza by the slice because this was pretty normal where I grew up in NJ but mostly totally unavailable around where I live now, sadly. The quality of the pizza and ingredients was great. They have mastered a really thin crust pie without being too crispy or crackery. On the full pie menu there were a number of items I would have loved to try if we had more time. Would definitely stop back in next time I'm in LA!

Love their pizzas and the ambiance.It's a kid friendly restaurant and nice place to gather with friends for a bite.

I just had a terrible experience at the slice and pint. The manager threatened to kick me and my party out for being loud after we had ordered our food. While we were waiting my friends and I were joking within each other when out of the no where the manager (blond ish Caucasian female) said : if you guys don't calm down I'm going to kick you guys out.In our defense we were joking and being funny within each other, never did we disrespect anyone or break anything. Surprisingly and unfortunately she called the el segundo police on us and they asked us to leave.
