Enchilada House

I've been craving vegan taquitos for four days so I was delighted to see potato taquitos on the menu. The veteran cashier greeted me warmly took my order graciously and provided the taquitos promptly.. they were warm and crispy and savory and hit the spot on this cool evening before the storm. Comes with an avocado dip and a red sauce dip both delightful.!

It had been about 10+ years since I last visited this place. First started going back in the 80's. Same specials are there from them, but obviously different prices (I'll post pics I took of the menu my last visit). I got a carne asada burrito. The taste of the rice and beans and carne asada were more on the light side as far as being seasoned or flavored. Not likely I would personally order that one again, but I did order the taco and bean and cheese with drink special and I got to say that the tacos tasted just as great as they did before. I would definitely order them again. I usually take much away from a place when I order a bean and cheese burrito because I believe the beans say a lot about the place cause beans are often is in many different items. How they cook them and how they season or flavor them. I would definitely go back and try some other items I hadn't had in many years

Potato and bean tacos are cheap and delicious. Place is tucked in San Pedro but definitely a local spot.

This place is so nostalgic for me. I used to come here with friends after school or on the weekend and grab potato tacos. They were bomb then, and they still are now. And to be honest, I never tried any of their other menu items until recently. I had told my daughter how good the tacos were and she tried them for the first time and love the potato tacos. I also tried their chicken taco, which I had never done so in the past, and it was absolutely delicious. This place is cash only so have your money ready. The tacos are reasonably priced and filled with meat and they don't like flavor. You will not be disappointed.

Great hole in the wall plan. We use to live near by 50 years ago and my mom loved their chile relleno burrito. So whenever I am in the area I go there and get the burrito, still tastes the same. Good prices.

Good Mexican food. Home made and rather tasty. Not the best but for the price very good

Been a few years since we stopped by so we decided to come in on a Saturday just about an hour before closing. My husband had the red beef plate and I had the chili verde. Although the prices are very reasonable the portions are small. My chile wasn't so great as I remember, and my husband didn't really enjoy the red beef because he ended up getting sick to his stomach the next day. Maybe what they gave us was the bottom of the barrel because especially the beef look like it had been shredded down to pieces from one time that would have been chunks but now the bottom of the barrel shreds. Not sure but I believe that if it wasn't their usual and customary quality that they should not have put it out. We did not get tortillas with our meals either. Not sure if I really want to go back here again but if I did maybe at a different time of day not sure still not sure.

A San Pedro GEM! This place is small and looks like a hole in the wall but the food is delicious! The service is fast and they only take cash.. conveniently there is an atm right by the ordering window if you forgot to pull money out. I always get the chicken enchiladas combo and the piña. 10/10 and the prices are unmatched.

I stopped by the Enchilada House at 133 N Bandini St San Pedro, CA 90731today for lunch. A local, family owned and operated, inexpensive place for lunch or dinner. It's not much to look at, it's small, and a bit run down, but it has great food, inexpensive, and has an A rating. If you haven't been you should definitely give it a shot.

They treat there black customers different . Night shift register to be exact . It's the same lady every time has taken my money and refused to give my food because she accused the only black customers of not paying , not being delusional at all I paid a second time !!!!!! For her to say you're crazy you never gave me anything .
