I've been eating taco Rico since I was a kid. My mom used to work in Norwalk and always brought us here. I don't know what they put the in the chicken Cesar salad but it's amazing till this day. I finally visited again recently after moving to Norwalk and had the chicken salad and a torta de asada. They also give you chips and salsa which is a plus. Service has always been great and prices are not crazy. Definitely will be visiting more often.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. I always introduce my friends and family to this place. Probably the most authentic in my opinion. Their chips and salsa are amazing. The service here is always outstanding. It's self order at the counter and seat yourself type of establishment. It's not very big and depending on time this place gets busy. It's fast service. Clean. Average noise.You can't go wrong with anything you order. Any burrito is delicious especially if you get a wet burrito. My all time favorite dish is the El Taco Rico plate. I've had it both with Steak and Chicken. I love everything about it. They have really good beans and rice.They have really good quality food. Flavors are authentic. Highly recommend.

4 stars and above yelpers..... I'm with you! This restaurant flies under the radar from its outside appearance but the food definitely makes up for it. Flavors are fresh and clean. You can taste the layers of goodness in each bite. Reminds me of an authentic Mexican meal made with love. Complimentary tortilla chips that you can't stop eating. Salsa flavorful. For those who like it hot , you'll have to bring it from home like you usually do. Great food at reasonable prices.

I came here on a road trip because they looked good and accepted credit cards. It's a cute and busy place. It was a bit warm, with a fan in the corner doing its best. Unfortunately I was way over in the opposite corner. There is a 50 cent card surcharge, but the price was decent for a bean and cheese burrito and a 20 ounce drink. It also comes with chips if you dine in.The chips were light and tasty, but the salsa was a bit weak. The burrito tasted good but was messy and runny and fell apart. I'm glad they provided a fork and knife. Overall, it was decent enough.
