I probably didn't get the full experience of El Pollo Inka as I'm on a budget and honestly only came in to use WiFi, so yes I got the cheapest thing on the menu, aguadito soup. They don't have outdoor seating for my dog, who is technically a service animal, so I kinda got some flack for her being with me...but not only is she a service dog, she has to stay with me now of all times because our place burned down. She doesn't have any signs of aggression so it bothers me when people discriminate or give us the crappy unseen seats so they don't have to look at us i guess?Anyway the waitress was fine, she checked up on me. It took a while to get served maybe due to our location on top of it being lunchtime but I got the food quickly. Can't honestly say I'd recommend soup but I'm pretty sure no ones coming here for soup. It's just like a green sauce chicken rice soup that maybe you'd eat if you had a cold or something. With a roll on the side. I might come to another location and try the more tastier offerings. I don't live near here so it's just as well. Nice music at least.

The food is so good, no complaints. The service on the other hand... horrible, EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I keep going even knowing this, but it's humorous at this point it's like the waiters compete to do the worst. If you go, expect to have to get up to ask for someone to attend you, to get a refill, to get ANYTHING. Lead does not care. No one cares. The only people who do a good jobs are the busboys, they usually have to pick up the slack for the waitresses. I recommend the food, but maybe just for pick up. Or another location. If this is your first time, you'll definitely leave angry. I went Friday, and "Clarita" was my waitress. I only saw her when she asked us what we wanted to eat. We had to ask the bussers and the bartender for the rest of our drinks, the food, the bill. The bartender was irritated and asked for lead to speak with her and have her attend us and she still refused to. I'm finally saying goodbye to this restaurant. Lead has to hold their servers accountable I know they are losing a lot of loyal clientele because of this. I hope they can do better soon.

Had lunch here today, I thought of eating healthy by ordering the rotisserie chicken plate and there wasn't any flavor at all. I don't think the marination worked on mine ... We were seated right away though which I appreciated but from the ordering to getting our food and requesting bread was quite a wait. I've been to other Peruvian restaurants in the area and they can definitely improve to keep up with the competition.

Had one of the worst experiences by far at this location. Left around 7pm tonight. I had a party of 8 including two kids. We sat down and ordered kids food first along with 3 appetizers so that they can eat first as we all know kids get impatient. 2 appetizers arrived at our table, missing one. We never got it. One adult got his food first 20 minutes later we got the rest of our food. One plate was incorrect so that person had to wait an additional 10mins while everyone else ate. We asked for water and failed to come to the table. No silverware was given we had to take from empty tables around us. No napkins offered. At this point we asked for boxes to go because it was just an unpleasant experience and we had been waiting for our food for far too long. As we are waiting for the bill we let out server Stephanie know that there's items on our check that do not pertain to us. She leaves to remove them. In the meantime we asked someone else for a cup of water. (Zume) I think her name was. Someone from our party went up to the bar to ask for the water once again and the same girl told him "you may need to wait, you guys think you can hurry up? We are waiting for your table to leave we need to sit a party of 12 and it's a Surprise" at this point it was unbelievable that they said this to us as it was on their part that we were WAITING. We waited for our food a good amount of time. We did not get to enjoy our meals and now are being rushed to leave although it's the servers fault we are waiting!? I then asked for servers name and managers name and I was told that there was NO manager onsite tonight which is extremely disappointing. I asked who was in charge and was told no one was and that I would have to call in the morning and ask for a "victor" it took several times of asking who was the manager for them to tell me. We were fine with just leaving and paying for our food but once the comment of us being asked to leave because another party is waiting pissed us off. It ruined the birthday we were celebrating and REGRET coming here instead of el rocoto down the street!! HORRIBLE SERVICE.

This was the first Peruvian restaurant I had ever been to over 30 years ago but sadly I hadn't been here in over 10 years since I moved out of the area. A reunion of college friends brought us back here and as excited as I was to try my all-time favorite dish, Saltado de Mariscos, it just didn't seem to have the "wow" factor that it did back then. I've had better elsewhere, which hurts me to say because I normally rank El Pollo Inka pretty high. Not so flavorful as I would expect. In fact, I was dousing it with twice as much Aji Verde sauce than I normally use. It wasn't horrible, just wasn't mouthwatering like I expected. Hoping maybe the chef was having a bad day because I really do like this place and I will be coming back.

El Pollo Inka has been around for many years and was my first introduction to Peruvian cuisine. The meal started off with a bowl of their pollo gallina soup, it could have been a bit hotter, but is good with the hot sauce mixed in. I've always liked their Lomo Saltado, especially with the Aji Amarillo sauce. The sautéed beef, red onions, tomatoes, French fries and rice is a great combination, especially smothered in the delicious green sauce. It's an okay restaurant to meet your fix for Peruvian food in Gardena. There are better places in Hollywood like Mario's or Los Balcones.

El Pollo Inka's food is good and I love their green sauce. However, their service is sadly not up to par. I ordered over the phone for pick up and when I arrived not only did they get my order wrong they also (after remaking the order) repacked it wrong so I had to go back and get a dish they left out of my order.I never have problems with their service when dinning in but I do think their dishes can be a little inconsistent in seasoning & taste. When trying the same chicken dish between me & my sister I could tell one was different in seasoning then the other. Overall, I think this location is operated alittle messy and is due for a bit of a remanagement! Excited to try it again and hopefully get a better overalll feel of it all!

bad service food portuon smaller 2 waitress since we got there we took a long time waiting. The server was lagging it on the straw on the spoons. My brother-in-law want to ask Quan. The server said he can't get it. Then we had to ask the server who was there to be rude the first time then after my son accidentally broke a cup and he was saying, you guys better charge him the cup laughing and then when I said it was his birthday to bring him a cake they they didn't have any more cake that I have to buy one of not they could bring cookies so they ended up bringing cookies if just so many things I hope I get a discount and I will get to the manager again I told him that time they also didn't have fountain drinks because the machine didn't work so everything was all the time

I was there last Saturday, I'm Peruvian, and Lima Service recommended this restaurant to me. Honestly, it's one of the worst Peruvian restaurants I have ever visited. The seafood chaufa rice had a horrible smell, the Papa Rellena came without olives or eggs and was awful. The drinks were a Pina Colada that had no liquor at all, just pineapple juice, and a Lucumama without any Pisco. I will never go back to that restaurant again.
