El Pescador - Carson

Service is a 5 Went for lunch with friends and well was a little disappointed on taste of food and portion. I ordered a chili rojo burrito and wasn't good but worst part the portion looked like it was from a kids menu. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant thats cutting back on the flour tortilla ‍

Went here for a late lunch. Good sized facility. The bar area looks like it can be used for parties / dances. A dj table was to the side and noticed the lights above. Multiple tv screens played sporting events and music videos. I ordered a chili verde burrito off the lunch menu. The chili verde was excellent! Rice and guacamole salad finished off the platter. All well done. My friend had a Diablo enchilada meal. Says the sauce packs a little heat. All meals were great. The bartender was good spirited and intermixed with those at the bar. Our waitress was good but did seem to disappear for periods of time. Chips were ok and the salsa was more of a sauce. Otherwise all was great.

El Pescador in Carson was a nice surprise!! This place delivers on all fronts: incredible food, amazing drinks, stellar service, and a lively cantina vibe that makes every visit feel like a celebration.Let's start with the drinks: I ordered the mezcal margaritas (yes, plural--don't worry, my man drove! ), and they were perfection. Smoky, tangy, and not overly sweet, they paired beautifully with the food. My man opted for the margarita flight, which was not only Instagram-worthy but also a flavor-packed experience. Each one was crafted with care, and he loved every sip.As for the food, we were blown away. I devoured the birria tacos, and they were pure bliss--tender, flavorful, and dunked in that rich consommé. My man ordered the carne asada plate, and let me tell you, it was a masterpiece. Perfectly seasoned steak, tender and juicy, with all the fixings. He's a tough critic when it comes to carne asada, and he couldn't stop raving about it.The service was impeccable--attentive, friendly, and fast. Even with the lively and energetic cantina vibe, the staff made sure we felt taken care of.Whether you're here for date night, a group outing, or just some tacos and tequila, El Pescador hits the mark. We'll absolutely be back for round two (and probably three). 5/5 stars all day!

Came here during a weekday for happy hour and to celebrate a birthday. It was busy, but we were seated quickly and our server came to our table within minutes. The music was loud so had to kind of shout at times We did not like the salsa. The best way to describe it is that it was not a chunky salsa and tasted more like tomato soup.We both got margaritas and were pleasantly surprised on the size of the margarita for the price. I highly recommend getting one during happy hour, you will be happy :)The food options for happy hour were ok. We got ceviche to share and it didn't taste as fresh, but was ok. We were glad they gave plenty of lemons and a good portion go avocado. I also got the taquitos and was not impressed with the amount of meat in them, but they did give a nice portion of toppings. We came for a birthday and usually you're not charged for the dessert, but we were...so that was a let down. They only offer a cheesecake too. They came and sang at the table at least. The dessert was $8.

I would suggest a different place, didn't like how they speak to the employees. Yt Mexicans exploiting people.

Really good ambiance a soccer lover's dream the place is full of TV screens to keep up with the game. There is also a dj on the weekends so keep in mind that it is noisy in here.The food was really good and the portion sizes are large! Service was also good our waiter was upbeat and made some jokes to liven up the experience.

Never knew about this restaurant until my nephew invited us for his birthday with his in-laws. I'm glad we came here because I really like the vibe of the restaurant. The hostess at the front didn't speak much English, I tried my Spanish, but I'm very limited. Thankfully, someone else came out to help with the language barrier.Let's start with their jalapeño margarita....yum! And presentation, beautiful! Chips & salsa are, of course, a staple but basing it off the salsa, delish! My daughter's dino nuggets & fries came with more fries than nuggets, but she can't complain about that. My husband's enchiladas were good. It came with a mixture of fish, shrimp, and crab, I think it was. And I ordered the Carne Asada a la Tampiquena, which was very appetizing. Can't wait to try other dishes! Oh, and they also have live music during the weekend and lunch specials. So spacious inside too!

Love coming her for some oysters and ceviche. It's always fresh and very tasty and always hits the spot. Usually get a margarita as well. Service is usually pretty good. They can get busy but the servers always do their best to stop by as often as possibly and you can tell their quick and attentive. I've only ever sat in the bar and it's always loud in there. The dining area can be pretty loud too if they have mariachis playing.

El Pescador is located in a strip mall in Carson. Parking is free and easy. They have a large lot. The place itself is large so you can't miss it once you drive in. They have daily specials and all sorts of events there. It has a large bar and we could see people having the best time. I think soccer was on. Sometimes they have live music and Happy Hour. You can give them a call and see what is up. They have every drink you can imagine. It can get a tad loud in the bar, but once you enter the dinning area it is quiet and a real family restaurant. There is a lot of seating in comfortable booths and the service is excellent. The staff is super nice and very kid friendly, this looked and felt like a family restaurant and everyone seemed very happy.The food is great. It is brought pretty fast and boy is it hot, so beware.We just loved all that we had. Their guacamole is tasty and they have really great enchiladas. We also had nachos and they were fresh and packed with everything my grandson wanted. The servers checked on us often and made us feel at home. All of the menu items looked good. We did not try their special fish dishes. We need to do that. Enjoy.

We hosted our annual company Christmas event here this year and let me tell you it was THE BEST experience! I had the pleasure of working closely with Monica to plan the event which ended up having 55 attendees, and she was an absolute dream! She made sure to stay in constant communication and was so kind as to any accommodations that we needed! The night went off without a flaw, and when I came to set up the wait staff was superb! They saw how I was setting up and took the lead and really jumped in to help! The restaurant looked so darling for the holidays, and the band was excellent! The food was amazing, you get so many choices even when doing a seated dinner - all of my guests had a wonderful time, and have been raving about the event. I will absolutely be looking to book a future event here, especially if I get to work with Monica again as she made this event so successful and I couldn't have done it without her help!
