El Patio Fine Tacos And Beer

Delicious with great service - my new favorite place to take friends & clients! The food is beautiful and beautifully served with staff that's always friendly. My friends and I have been a few times now and the food is generous and perfectly seasoned. Juicy and tender meats, perfectly cooked rellenos, addictive chips & salsa and the agua frescas are what dreams are made of. Great parking - I love the patio! Enclosed to keep away the chill yet airy enough to enjoy our Long Beach weather every day of the year! Don't sleep on El Patio! It's a perfect location for small office parties, birthdays & other celebrations!

A decent place. The service was outstanding (granted we were one of the few folks there)The ambiance was solid.The food was had a good presentation but the flavor was below average. It was warm rather than hot so it may have been preprepared. The salsa was liquidy and not super complicated and the shrimp was not fresh. Given everything else I saw i feel like this may have been a one off so I'm leaving it at a 4 star here.

What a gem. I stopped by because a friend had recommended this place. Let's start off with the service. The waitress was more than accommodating for all our wants and needs. If we wanted more salsa or limes, she was quick to grab it for us. She was friendly and was patient while we took a bit to order. Next the house salsa and chips. I love a good house salsa and chips but I was really sad and disappointed when their salsa was quite honestly, just a liquid. I was like where's the chumminess ?? Where's the density to it I don't wanna drink my salsa :(((The actual entrees were BOMB. Like. SO GOOD. Like. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE. Their food was just so filled with flavor, it was satiating, nothing was lacking whatsoever. I definitely got filled up and had to take my leftovers home. I couldn't decide on what to get so I had the trip fajitas and it really satiated my cravings for multiple things which were the chicken steak and shrimp. I would totally order it again. Also their horchata made me feel like a wh..... chata ready to shake my ch.... Anyways. It was just really good. I can't have any type of Mexican food without my horchata. The place itself has outdoor and indoor seating, just beware the parking is a tiny lot. You might have to find street parking. Def coming back. Just plz fix the salsa

No pics because the food was so good I just had to eat. Birria tacos with rice and black beans for the wife, she enjoyed. I got the Fajitas trio. Ordered to go and had a Negrita while waiting. The Fajitas at the place are outstanding! Even for delivery, well packaged. The shrimp are big and tasty, the steak is tender and juicy and the chicken is very good as well...but the green peppers and onions are lightly sautéed and have a little crunch as a result. This means the have NOT been basting in a tin all night till the get soggy. To me this shows the chef cares! This is a simple place with a big enclosed patio, that have parking as well. A lot of Mexican restaurants in Long Beach. I think this is one of the best!

GREAT food, service, portions, and micheladas!The location is off a busy street but there is a parking lot with some spots. The decor and ambiance is welcoming, clean and friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive. My boyfriend loved his michelada and steak plate with freshly made, thick tortillas. My mixed seafood ceviche was the best I have had in Long Beach, plus both of our portions were soooooo huge. Great value for the price. This place is a great value for quality of food and price, plus it's family friendly.

I've been craving to come check this place out, especially on Tuesday or Friday for their special deal. I'm glad I came on Friday 12/22 to experience an unforgettable moment where you can watch fresh, hand-pressed tortillas getting freshly made in front of you. SUPERIOR customer service and great atmosphere all at once. Soft and delicious. Their Salsa/Sauce was amazingly good. Do ask about their sauce, its deliciously spicy! Be warn, lol. I'm not sure which one is my favorite from the 4 types of meat, but if I need to choose one, I'll choose Al Pastor because it was juicy and perfectly marinated. Everything has a good balance when you mixed in your fresh green and sauce to your liking. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is spacious and easy access. They have a restroom for your convenience. Wanted to try a new place for dinner on Friday, we've heard good things about El Patio so we decided tonight was the night to try it out.Upon entering we were immediately greeted with a cheerful welcome from a young woman, who was also to be our waitress, the name on the receipt was Jack. She was very friendly, attentive, she kept our drinks full and made sure we were settled and checked on us frequently.My wife and I were both craving shrimp, so I tried the shrimp fajitas and she had the shrimp ceviche. The fajitas were good, could be used a bit more spice but nevertheless good. Grilled vegis were cooked perfectly and those that were a tadbit charred were perfect. The device, my wife really liked, she kicked it up a notch because she likes the heat but she really enjoyed it. Apparently they used to have drag shows there, our friend MissyVee has performed there, not sure if they still do, if so I'd definitely go. The ambiance is played back, welcoming and friendly. Even the patrons coming in were nice.I'd definitely come back

I really like the carnitas here. They are extremely good, servers are really nice too. It's my daughter's favorite place when she visits says they have a great michalada! Yes the servers were hit or miss a while back but it's much better now. I'm there probably once a week. I highly recommend it.

It is very hard to find good Mexican food. Me & my fiance were in the area so we decided to give this place a shot since we always see it. We came in the morning on a Saturday so I was surprised that it wasn't packed. He got the trip fajita plate & I love eggs Benedict so I got the sope Benedict. Everything was sooooooo good. I did wish the sope was crispier but that's just preference. The chips & guac were amazing, the fajitas & tortillas were good, the horchata was amazing. Everything was good, I will definitely come back to try other plates. The customer service was also good!

Whenever I'm in Long Beach I always stop by this location. The food is great, especially the Menudo. The service is great and the hostesses are beautiful.
