El Nuevo Guadalajara Market

Small Mexican market with a butcher inside of it. if you want to make your own tacos but don't want to marinate the meat, this market is decent because the marinated meats aren't old meat (sept 2023) but I would just buy enough for a day and not more. The flavoring is OK (decent), not bad nor GREAT. The ones I tried and listed by priority are1. Carne asada (lemon tasting)2. Al pastor (diced pork) but it does have pieces of fat in it.3. Chicken fajitaThe market makes tacos/burritos with these meats, so you can try before buying a bunch of raw marinated meat. Just have to prepay at cashier first and bring paid slip back to food prep area. Fresh Salsa is sold but it was too spicy for me. Tostada and fresh tortilla also available.Vegetables used for Mexican food are pricey, so I wouldn't get it here.Lottery tickets sold here so, it's one stop for groceries and convenience store items.

Not sure how this store is still open , it's overpriced and the veggies/fruits are not fresh . There's an older guy who works the register and he purposely adds items to your bill at check out , he also short-changes people if you pay cash . Especially if you're older and non-English speaker and less likely to question him or review your receipt . My mom has been a victim twice but we've caught it and asked for our money back! One of the employees even told my mom that multiple people have complained about the same thing and yet nothing changes . Today he added $11.99 to my mom's bill for a roasted chicken she did not have! He even indicated a price per pound so it wasn't an oversight . Never will we shop here again .

Wanted to try a new local spot and went with this place. Ordered one asada and one bean, rice, cheese burrito. Overall the food was good. Asada burrito tasted great but the bean, rice, cheese burrito lacked aittle flavor. Also disappointed that alot of the menu options were not available. Note, that you must pay for the food before you order (which wasn't explained to me and when I asked, the lady cooking seemed a bit rude when I asked).

I would like to let everybody know that my husband went to the market today, and he was charged $20.00 dollars more than he actually spent. This is the 3rd. Time that this is happening, sometime they over charged you. My kids went other day same thing. Be careful.

This is a small neighborhood market. However, they also sell food. The lady here making the food is always nice and welcoming. The food is really good and authentic. They have Tacos, burritos, birria, quesadillas, mole, salads, tortas etc all the goos stuff.

The cashiers are horrible in this meat market always rude and they never know anything, I don't know where they hire this rude as people, I bought 1 lbs of cheese and it was bad with a sour taste and they never gave me my money back, which I don't care but at least hire someone with people skills. Horrible experience each time!

Love this place! Prices are right and food is good and it's not awkward if you don't speak Spanish everyone is cool in there I go almost daily I dare you to find a better tasting bigger and cheaper burrito! Doubt you will

i came to get milk because it's close to my house and i needed something quick, i got a regular red gallon which said it didn't expire until like a couple of days and when i got home it was clearly expired even tho it had said it wasn't

I have been coming here for 6years. Everyone always greets me with a positive vibe and the meat is great quality. Anyone having a hard time finding meat and essentials during this Corona virus thing?Look no further, this store has everything and without the lines!!!
