A Goldilocks experience. The food wasn't anything special, but also wasn't bad. It was just right.It's cash only but they have an ATM. The service was fast, kind, and professional.

Food is good but prices have definitely surged up. $20 for a plate where I'm used to $10-15 in LA or at other places. The flavor is there but value I'm unsure.Their chips and salsa are still my favorite to date tho!

KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)!That's what a wise man once told me.Who doesn't like a hearty breakfast on the weekend? I'm always down after a tough work week. Too often in Southern California, you need a reservation to eat even a quick breakfast. Granted, if I wasn't so lazy, I would prepare my own meal. On this day I needed a quick meal, preferably a delicious one. BINGO!Now I've dined at El Burrito Junior (LBJ to us socal folks) many times for lunch and dinner. This was my first breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised.It's not a fancy place but the workers are friendly and the service is quick. There are simple booths as well as outdoor tables. It's very clean.The breakfast was simple and surpassed my expectations. Sausage and eggs were cooked perfectly to order. Not skimpy links but thick tubes of meat with a nice charred exterior and snap. Rice and beans were generously scooped on the plate to support the meal. Who needs toast and potatoes?! Choice of corn or flour tortillas. Of course chips and salsa to start. Salsa is tart, slightly smoky, with mild heat. Extra salsa available to enhance the eggs. Hmm, I wonder if this is why I decided to critique the restroom?So if you're lazy like me and can't get a table anywhere for breakfast, give it a try.There is a convenient parking lot. Additional TMI note: the bathroom was very clean for a fast food place.

Perfect place for a quick and delicious lunch/dinner for the family. Prices are still somewhat reasonable, food is always out promptly, and the service is consistently friendly. We usually get one or two of their specials and share because they have large portions and comes with plenty of chips. Gets a bit busy during night time and the dining room is a bit small but theres always some room to dine in regardless. Parking lot has plenty of room.

Josh the server/cashier is great, only my 2nd time here and he was patient with me for placing my order ,he had good suggestions, I loved the taco,beans,rice todayParking is easy and there is a nice private patio..Thx

Disgusted and disappointed. This location sucks. It's the closest to our house but other locations will be worth the drive, if we get LBJ again, after today. I usually get a #20, which is a wet bean and cheese burrito. Only about half the time it comes "wet", even when we specify when ordering "that comes wet, right"? So today not only did the burrito not come wet, but it also came with tin foil inside the burrito. And this isn't a burrito that is wrapped in foil, this is a meal that comes in a tin. My husband usually gets a Special C and his soda is always packed with ice, leaving little soda. It's just not worth it anymore. Too much money for crappy food.

Food was horrible. Ordered the tacos de lengua (beef tongue), w beans and rice, and husband also got the shrimp cocktail. Let me tell you, this must be hospital grade food. It was all tasteless. Chips were hard as a rock and salsa was watery but ok. Beans and meat were horrible. How can a Mexican spot mess up on beans when all you do is boil them in salt and re-fry. It was gross. Rice looked pretty but did not taste like much. Very disappointed. I think this place really caters to non Mexican's as we true Mexicans will spot the lack of seasoning and passion that makes Mexican one of the most sought out cuisine out there. Please guys get a grip and let those beautiful Mexican flavors pop! Taste your food to make sure it's seasoned well. Let's really show up how our beautiful Mexican cuisine can and should taste. Service was top notch but taste just left us all disappointed.Update.. after dinner we came home to rest. However my husband and I got stomach discomfort and diarrhea. This is no good.

I've always ordered here via Door Dash but never stepped foot in here. Prices are reasonable and my go to is the two bean burrito special with a drink and tostadas and salsa for 10 bucks. Burritos are very filling and if you don't have a big appetite (unlike me) you'll have lunch (or dinner) for two days!Staff was very friendly and efficient in placing my order as I originally ordered it at another location mistaking it for this one. Once I placed my order (in person) it was ready very quickly in 10 min.

I'm a Mexican. This place is a cool little joint. I'd come back. Food was good, decor is nice and simple, workers are nice.
