We came here early for breakfast, immediately following the 4.1 earthquake centered in Malibu. To our surprise it was felt here at Eat at Rudy's. Diners were looking around with shocked faces, so we initially thought it was us. Then we all had a bit of laugh.We were immediately greeted and seated by our server. She allowed us adequate time to review the menu while bringing us our beverages. Since this is like a local watering hole, staff and guests talked like old friends. It was quite enjoyable to listen in. We both ordered the waffle special, which is waffles served with eggs and choice of meat. The waffles came fresh the griddle so the butter melts immediately. However, I must say they use a high quality and fresh eggs, as they were delicious. Partnered up with their homemade salsa, I was in hog heaven.This place is really cozy, so whether you're dining alone or in a group, everyone seems to enjoy everyone's company.

This place is good! Very Friendly staff and tasty food! I ordered the turkey burger but added some spicy ranch and it was a hit! Burger wasn't dry still moist and all the toppings within the burger were all FRESH! Definitely will come back!!

Stopped for breakfast at this Local diner on our way to San Pedro. Lots of parking, restaurant was not too busy for Saturday morning. Very cozy and homey cafe. Hostess was welcoming and friendly and our waitress was super sweet and attentive. I chose lunch instead of breakfast, my hubs ordered delicious specialty pancakes. We enjoyed our meal.

Super friendly hostesses and great comfort food. I usually get the breakfast here. The breakfast burritos are delicious and I also tried the chile verde omelette and it is fantastic. It is really cute inside the restaurant like an old school diner. There is plenty of parking here and I usually take my clients here to grab food and have meetings. Great place to try and a definite staple in the Wilmington city.
