Dong Loi Seafood

We have been coming here for years to buy the box of scallops. The price has certainly crept up over for the years. This place is close on Sunday and opens after 10 am on other days.

Well it's been almost a year since I first came to Dong Loi...Christmas last year at our house was going to be Steak and Lobster and Clams and Oyster and ....I stopped by the week before because I wanted to speak with the owner due to the size of my order. Christine, the owner turned out to be really cool and gave me good pricing on very high quality seafood. I ordered over 50lbs of LARGE whole MAINE lobsters, two boxes/bags of oysters (one Kumamoto), a case of Manila Clams and even cold water scallops!My order was ready Christmas Morning exactly like I expected and it knocked to socks off the whole family!We steamed the clams before dinner and shucked oysters on the half shell too! Then we cooked the large lobsters in an outdoor beer wort cooker made of a 15.5 gallon keg! Those and thick ribeye steaks were amazing!I am going back to Dong Loi this year again to order/pickup a bunch of seafood because my family has requested seafood again this Christmas dinner.I wouldn't be going back if I had received poor service or inferior quality seafood. So, for my money, I'm going to Dong Loi! Oh - and yes I've bought at all the other big and small places since my brother was a restaurant manager for years so this is an informed opinion based on real comparisons.

This is a warehouse of seafood. Not really anything on display. Bought a box of their kelps, it was too big. They only accept cash. Not impressed.

This place was referred to me by my cousin's girlfriend. I'm so glad she did! I love this place. The older men are so helpful with their recommendations and the receptionist is very patient. (I had such a hard time deciding on what I wanted because I wanted to eat everything). You definitely have to buy in bulk here. I bought a whole box of oysters (100+) for $42 and 2 lobsters for $48. Make sure to go early to get the good stuff before it's gone because this warehouse services the local seafood restaurants. They ran out of clams by the time I got there. Oh yeah, BRING CASH! This place doesn't take cards.

This place is a whole sale place. They whole sale seafood which is really cheap. The down side is that you have to buy in BULK.

I know this business for a long time. I am really appreciate with what they have. Until last week I was there, and I met a young guy, he is so rude, I don't know he's a son of the Owner or he's a son of Bitch. I think I'll never come back there again.I think Dong Loi Seafood need to do something to solve this problem to let Dong Loi being a good business, nicer to customers and growing bigger. Thanks a lot.
