Came with family for dinner tonight, I was craving hot dogs and esquite, this spot was perfect! The entire staff were all so great but a big special thanks to Julie, girl you are the sweetest thing and just absolutely made our night special. Thank you so much! The vibes here are casual and comfy, la comfort food for sure!We came starving! Ordered $100 worth of food that could have easily fed four people...but anyways....I had the elote veggie dog on the lobster roll and the veggie house special on the regular bun. I enjoyed both very much but my favorite was the elote dog. My husband had the regular beef LA cheesesteak dog on a lobster roll and he said it was so good and didn't leave one bite. We also ordered a large esquite, hit the spot for sure!Got a large strawberry Jamaica in a little jarrito it was so damn cute, this was like nothing I've tried before and I am now putting this on my cravings list!!We got three orders of wings, one set in each flavor because we couldn't make up our minds on which one to try lol they were all good but my favorites were the bbq and mango habanero. We ordered the small dirty fries and that spicy ketchup was bomb! Fries were delicious and well cooked. We also got a churro and deep fried Oreos. My god. That churrro. It was like the cherry on top of everything. It was perfectly fried and warm and slightly gooey inside. Served with the little cream side it was just to die for. Overall I have zero complaints, the food came out so quick! Everything was fresh and well made and it compensated for the price, I think it was well worth it. Will def be coming back!

we did a quick pitstop for a snack and man was it so worth it. we got a hot dog and corn and it was the perfect little snack to have. the service was amazing, the cashier was patient to answer our questions and the food came out fast. the vibe was interesting and seemed customer forward with graffiti and paintings of LA icons.

Ok spot for grabbing some hot dogs but I was not a fan of the prices here. The bun to meat ratio was not ideal. Fries were ok.

So this is our first time to this location. It was good but not as good as the original located in Commerce City. Everything was cooked better and tasted fresher however this place was decent. If you're in the area, it's worth a drop in. I highly recommend the esquite and the fried Oreos but I would skip the breakfast burrito. There's a reason that it's only at this location. We didn't end up eating it and they gave us fried Oreos as a replacement.

I came here because I saw it and Instagram and I wanted to try it. I placed my order my hot dog was very delicious but unfortunately I ordered and I will Agua Fresca and the girl took too long to get it to me. I was almost done and still no drink, and unfortunately, unfortunately, I had to ask for my money back. I highly recommended this place but let me tell you the dogs are not cheap they're like $10 a dog.

My mother specifically wanted to come here to try snoop's hot dog but that did not happen... apparently it's not on the menu anymore here and she was really sad about that ..but she got other stuff that was good . I personally prefer not so fancy hotdogs so this wasn't for me but it is a good quality fun place to eat with family or friends lots of rap and hip hop in rotation and beautiful murals to check out . Must add the counter staff and cooks were so friendly clean and generally good people.

At a small strip mall with available parking. Friendly service with a smile. The place was clean. I had the DUI dog, which was a bacon wrapped dog with carne asada, cheese, chipotle aioli, cilantro, and pastrami. It was ok. It was just too salty. My son had the House Dog, which was bacon wrapped with grilled onions, peppers, bacon bits, ketchup, mustard, mayo & house sauce. He thought it was way too messy. Dogs are about $12, each with a little extra for the lobster roll instead of the regular bun. There were 4 of us, and we paid $69. Worth it? Not really. But it satisfied the curiosity of the place. If you're in the mood for a well-dressed dog, then you'd probably like it here.

Wowza this place is BOMB! Highly recommend checking this place. The ambiance is very nostalgic and took me back to my childhood to the influential rappers who were on the top. From Snoop Dog to Aaliyah and Selena murals on the wall to playing the best era of music which is the millennial period (early 2000s), it was truly a vibe. I had a vegetarian elite hot dog on a brioche bun and it was simply finger-licking good! I wanted to get a second one but I didn't want to come across as a whale but man of man did I enjoy this. I was craving elite and the vegetarian dog so the fact they had one with both as simply fabulous. You're missing out if you haven't gone.

Food was great here at Dirt Dog. We came in the late afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. Service was great and the food was out to us in less than 10 minutes and we had ordered 4 different items. We sat outside and they have a really great mural of Kobe. Would definitely come again!

Was in the Downey area (coming from Long Beach) looking for a quick new place to stop for lunch. I recognized the name "Dirt Dog", and suddenly it occurred to me this restaurant was once one of several, and once had a location in Long Beach. The LB location closed before I had found out about it.Hot dogs are something I don't ordinarily like embellished with a bunch of toppings - I like their simplicity, affordability and the convenience of quick cooking them at home, or picking up a cheap dog at the gas station. However, after looking up pictures of the food on Yelp, these looked a level above just "dogs with extra toppings".A level above, indeed. Ordered the DUI Dog. Firstly, there are two bun options. A traditional hot dog bun and a split-top lobster-roll style bun. Tough choice, but I opted for the regular bun. It was anything but regular, very large, high quality bakery bun which was beautifully toasted inside and out. There was a little sear on the exterior that shows it was prepped with care.Inside, a large bacon-wrapped Nathan's dog, shredded cheese, pastrami, nicely seasoned carne asada, bacon bits [which were crisp and added a perfect bit of texture], and dressed in chipotle aioli and a little bit of cilantro. Seems a little convoluted, but everything worked wonderfully together. Tasted great[and high quality ingredients], presentation was great, preparation was great. I do really hope the owners would consider giving a Long Beach location another go sometime. Definitely want to go back, but I rarely get up to Downey or L.A.
