Diana's Mexican Food Products

The food is outstanding! I've been coming to this same location for over 30 years and the food is still amazing! However, the restaurant itself smells like very strong chemicals when you sit in a booth. The tables are extremely sticky, I wiped the table and it didn't help. I moved to a new table, it didn't help. I hate to see this place fall apart but it seems like the owners have not put any money towards the inside.

The food is good and fresh. The tacos were full of good beef and a good size. The Beef soup was decent but lacked vegetables. I have had before and there was quite a-bit more. The chips and salas bomb!

Mexican comfort food with plenty of options! We went for brunch so I got the famous wet green burrito (it's mild) and mom got huevos a la Mexicana ( no meat just veg and salsa). The place had a bakery with yummy Mexican pastries and a fridge full of Mexican soda. The bakery part has a little area with some grocery items. There's also a dining area next to it. It's a cool place for an informal lunch meeting too. The service is good but be sure speak loudly as they have lots going on in the kitchen.

First, let's talk about the food, it was well done, well proportioned, and the food tasted great. I do not understand the negative reviews, which almost kept me from visiting in the first place. Service was also great, polite cashier lady, absolutely no complaints.

Excellent service. Being that it is the day after a holiday, staff was very welcoming when I arrived at opening. The location is very clean. Every year, I come to get masa for tamales, breakfast burrito and a champurrado.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm in town. We always order the breakfast special but on my last visit I wanted to try the tamales and the menudo. I am reluctant to share my opinion because this place has a following, but I was surprised at how very bad the tamale was! Honestly, I've never had a more disappointing tamale in all my life. And the menudo. Let's just say they put the "meh" in menudo. It was full with tripe, but watery - I wished the broth was thicker. Overall, the food value was a miss for us. Counter service made no sense. The person a the register should NOT be the same person taking phone orders. Mother and I ordered coffees with our breakfasts and the register lady started to pour the coffees, then stopped to answer the phone. She proceeded to take a very long phone order with much conversation and with me - and a line of people behind me - standing at the register for about 5 minutes as she sorted this phone order. Again, the person handling customers at the register should prioritize those patrons and someone else should be responsible for phone orders. We'll be looking for a new breakfast and lunch spot. Best caldo de res I've ever had. And their tostadas are good too. This place is a store, a restaurant and a bar.

This review will be short and sweet.Food is good. Service not so much. Cashier clearly did not want to be there. Owner clearly doesn't care because most reviews state this and yet the service does not improve. Price is good though so you win some you lose some.

Heard so much about Diana's Mexican food productsWas in Norwalk area, to my surprise restaurant was empty, a few side orders customers came in for the salsa and beans.As I went in I seen the cook by the food area scathing His hair on head, but quickly changed his gloves, My mistake for staying..I looked toward the right and all the sides looked sadLike they having been sitting for daysI ordered just a hard shell taco, mistake number 2It was so greasy and the meat seem swimming in grease I felt sickChips were just as bad or worse at least a day old.Cashier seemed to be disinterested and just Looked at the few people up and down ,Tortillas after getting a rude response 4 dollars Cashier was watching tv in restaurant when I arrivedWill I be back, sadly not a chance, how they remain inBusiness I don't know, Kitchen area looked messy and not supervised

The prepared Masa was delicious this year. Perfectly salted and fresh. It was perfect and the tamales came out amazing. I also purchased the pineapple prepared masa to compare to my sweet tamale recipe and I would have to say it was very good. Nothing was added to try it out and I would definitely purchase again.
