DD Mau

I kind of have this obsession with pandan, so I knew I had to dry DD Mau. The only bad part is that I didn't see the pandan dessert on the wall with all the pictures. I ended up going with the Sweet Thai and the pandan waffle. After I ordered and paid is when I saw the other dessert on the wall adjacent to the register. I thought about trying to call to the back to change it, but it seemed out of place, so I just sat down.I loved both of the things I ordered, and I even went back last Monday to get what I meant to try originally, but they are closed on Mondays, which was a disappointment. I will have to try again another day.

This Vietnamese boba place was crowded. There were two small areas to sit and the rest was the counter. The kiosk to order was on the far left side along the wall with very little room to move around without bumping into the people sitting at the table. It felt a little bit cramp every where I went. When we got our drinks, one of them spilled on the counter because the plastic cover wasn't sealed properly. There were no napkins to be found and the workers were always in the back. We did find a push button bell to alert them that we needed help and they replaced the plastic cover with a snap on lid. On a funny note, it took me several times saying the name of the store to figure out that it means Go Go Fast so the real spelling would be Di Di Mau. Anyway, I wasn't overly impressed with the ambience or customer service but I did like all the drink colors on the menu. We all agreed that the drinks were okay.

I got the lychee fruit tea and Coco Jelly drink and both were very delicious! The lychee fruit tea is kinda on the sweet side though, so make sure the adjust the sweetness. For the Coco Jelly, it was perfect! Not too sweet nor bland! A great place to quickly stop by and quench your thirst! Service is fast and great. They also sell plants here (: and have cute holiday decor up!

Fun little place, with an amazing variety of flavors. I had a matcha latte without boba and it was great! They do have some tables, but I would recommend takeout Definitely will go back to try some of the other drinks.

Drinks & Shave Ice dessert options are all temptingly unique that make your decision to pick just 1 difficult. I want to taste them all so I will certainly be back to try all the other amazing options. Ended up trying the Vietnamese Hazelnut Cloud for the caffeine fix and their popular "Sweet Thai" shave ice dessert-(Coconut Milk, Coco Jelly, Logan, Jackfruit, Palmseed, Basil Seed, Red Tapioca, Pandan Jelly). The Sweet Thai was perfectly sweetened; not overpoweringly sweet and can taste that delicious coconut milk. Such a refreshing dessert drink with the scoop of shave ice on top that you have to mix with the other yummy ingredients. It's a like a texture & flavor party in your mouth! And that Vietnamese coffee drip is strong but with that scrumptious hazelnut cloud, takes you to a Caffeine Cloud 9! Krisna was super friendly and sweet as she was nice enough to interact with my social toddler while I was ordering. Overall vibe of this quaint dessert place was modern and clean with friendly staff and can't wait to try more!

Best refreshing little drink/dessert little spot! i wish there were more locations. I was here almost everyday at one point...i was addicted to this place.Staff were very helpful when I brought someone here for their first time. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!!!!

Waited 24 mins for a drink. They didn't tell us it was because they were cooking the pandan jelly until waiting 20 mins ..

DD Mau is a good option for Vietnamese desserts and drinks. They have their signature dessert items for all under $8 each. I usually go for the Sweet Avocado or the Sweet Thai. The Sweet Avocado is my favorite because it includes smashed avocado with jelly and ice. It's made with condense milk and is perfectly sweetened. The only thing I don't like about this place is I find their workers to not be very friendly. It's definitely more of a quick grab and go type of spot. Even though there is a few tables to sit in to be at. I just don't care for the vibe here. Oh and sometimes it does take some time for your items to come out. Lots of people order for pick up here.

Over the years, my fam's go to drink here has been the Sweet Thai. Soooo , when in town, I made a worthwhile visit. Located in a strip mall, parking can be tight, but we managed to find a spot right up front. Self serve kiosk to order drinks/ snacks was near the counter. Limited table seating. We ordered the Sweet Thai 100% sweetness with light ice. Soooooo good! The 100% sweetness was not overly sweet in my opinion. Swirled the crushed ice into the coconut milk and at the bottom of your drink lie all the goodies that you can spoon up - pandan jelly, coconut jelly, basil seed, longan, jackfruit, palmseed, and red tapioca. It's a tropical dessert treat! $6.95We topped off our drinks with an added additional treat- coconut pandan waffles! One order was perfect for two people. The large waffle was split in half to share. Freshly made and warm, the waffle was delicious- pandan flavor with a hint of coconut. $4.50I'll be back!

This is an awesome place for Vietnamese desserts and drinks. I tried the Honeycomb Toffee Brûlée & Vietnamese Hazelnut Cloud both of which were refreshing and tasty. It's a small place without much seating inside so you'll probably have to take it to go.
