Curry Lounge

Great food, everytime I've dined here. Having been to Curry Lounge over a handful of times, their food has always been lovingly made & packed with flavor. Manu and his staff greet customers with courteous hospitality, wanting very much to make an enjoyable experience for everyone who passes through their door. Out of all the eateries in Little India, Curry Lounge reigns supreme as my favorite. It has always been a pleasure to dine at Curry Lounge, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.Highly recommend!

The vibes were cute, I was welcomed as soon as I walked in & asked if I wanted to dine in or order for takeout. Me & my friend asked to dine in & immediately was brought out water pitcher with copper cups to pour our own water while eating, which I loved! The waitress brought us menus and I asked what is her beverage of choice, which she replied, "mango lassi" so we ordered 2 of em because I grew up loving mango lassi with my late brother Blake. I wish he was here to try their lassi because it it the best tasting mango lassi, I've ever tried.I chose to try Butter Chicken, and made it spicy.The other items I ordered are;- malai kofta- garlic naan- chili naan- samosasTheir malai kofta has a lightly seasoned gravy compared to all of the other Indian restaurants I've had in the past, it's usually packed with flavor but this one is good for folk who can't handle lots of seasoning.The garlic & chili naan is thin yet fluffy and seasoned well.Their samosas were paired with chutneys and were bussin! I loved the sweetness of the employees!

I was craving some Indian food and The Indian Restaurant, which is my usual spot was closed, so decided to check another spot. Curry lounge had great reviews and pictures so we came for a late lunch. They have street parking only. The inside is cozy and simple. We came just in time before the lunch combo menu ended. _Garlic Naan ($3.99) Naan topped with garlic and cilantro. This was good, but I preferred my other spot. I did not really get any taste of garlic. But the naan itself was soft and warm. _Butter Chicken Combo($19.99) Chicken cooked in a creamy tomato sauce. Comes with plain rice and 1 naan bread (extra charge for garlic naan). I saw this on the combo which worked out since the butter chicken on the regular menu does not come with rice or pita bread. I was so hungry when I first saw the lunch tray come out, I did not think it was enough, but it was plenty enough. It came with a good amount of nann bread. The butter chicken was well cooked and a good amount of it. It did lack depth of flavor and seemed pretty standard. The rice was solid. It also came with sliced red onions, some yogurt dip, and a chickpea stew, that was very spicy. Service was great. Overall everything was good but I will have to say, I preferred my other spot.

Food was great! I got mild and it truly was mild. Very quick and friendly service and fun decor inside too. Next time I'll come back for the discount on combo plates... 11-4pm.

The food at Curry Lounge is so tasty. Parking is always easy to find and the people who work hear are always friendly. The dining room is fun and they serve food in unique metal plates. Love their extensive menu! I can't wait to come back to try something new.

Parking can be difficult. Just have to get lucky and get parking on the street and hope it's close. No wait at 6pm on a Sunday. Lots of people eating inside though. Chicken 65. Good but needed more flavor Lamb vindaloo. Medium. Delicious. Would get again. Chicken tikka masala. Medium. Perfect! Kid's chicken nuggets and fries. Good flavor Chili garlic naan. Liked it with the chilis. Jeera rice. Good flavor Punjabi missi roti. Perfect with the chicken tikka masalaLove the flavor here. Would recommend!

I thought the food was okThe service was great though. Really friendlyHere's a run down of everything I had Nimbu pani: was really good. Indian lemonade with black salt. Not too sweet. Very refreshing. 5/5Pani puri: this was pretty excellent. Great flavor and very well seasoned. 5/5Gobi Manchurian: the flavor was ok but it was a little soggy. 3/5Laccha paratha: was chewy, hard and not flaky as advertised. 1/5Methi paratha: just like the laccha paratha was chewy and hard. Not tender like it should be. 1/5Shahi paneer: was tasty. FYI it's yellow and not red. 4/5Rajma: I didn't like this dish too much. Didn't have that much flavor. 2/5

Very good food thisbest Indian restaurant in la county i try few iteam all items very tasty and fresh

First Time Visiting: We were looking for real authentic-tasting Indian curries and we were not disappointed: We took out samosas, vegetable korma, chicken curry & lamb biryani with garlic naan. All excellent: spicy and flavorful. Nice friendly service and the chef was happy to prepare a customized vegetable curry made with our favorite vegetables. Portions were very generous - enough for the same again tomorrow!! Very impressed: We'll be back. Hard to find Indian food like this anywhere in Orange County.

Yesterday we went there food was delicious, we enjoyed dinner it was great service. Great location
