Joseph was a great server! Very attentive and quick which was amazing because it seemed like he was the only server working. This place is located inside a casino and once you walk into the first floor it is immediately to the right. Honestly, for the price the food was super worth it. I ordered the heart lover roll and the bamboo roll and I was not disappointed. My friend and I shared the dynamite roll and it was pretty delicious. My friend went ahead and ordered a bunch of 1 piece sushi pieces and his meal looked good too. And with yelp check in, there's a discount to make it even more cheaper! Definitely coming back here again.

I came here as part of a large birthday party. The parking is limited directly in front of the restaurant because it's inside of a hotel and casino. The restaurant itself was decorated very nicely, and there was plenty of seating. The menu had a large variety of sushi, boiled seafood, and other dishes. My husband tried the Catfish Poboy and enjoyed it. I decided to try the AYCE, and it was a big mistake! The sushi had way too much rice wrapped around it, and it lacked in flavor. The service was just as bad. I couldn't even get a refill on water, the entire meal. I believe our server took a break halfway through our meal, so I didn't really get an opportunity to order much food. I was very disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. This is not the place to try AYCE.

Why isn't this place more crowded?! Maybe because folks think you need to 21+ or because it's a casino in Carson? Let me tell you, the ayce sushi was tasty and fresh! Being small, they really cater to YOU! Super friendly staff, too. The Cajun boil was on point, and you choose the fixingsShrimp, blue crab, sausage, classic, crayfish, corn...got it Cajun and garlic butter (latter has no spice for the wussies in your party). Kids don't want seafood? They have pasta, salads, burgers, nuggies... even steak fried rice.Free parking, and kids don't have to enter the casino (front entrance is before the security checkpoint) If you are staying in the hotel, you can get 50% off!!!

Wasn't planning to write a review, but I feel that I owe it to my fellow foodies!Found this place on yelp while looking for cajun restaurants near southbay, and found that they have an AYCE sushi lunch/dinner. Wanted to give it a try, and I regret that!I don't know how it is possible that this place get a 4.9 score.Am I at a different restaurant or those reviewers never had Japanese or Chinese food, is this even possible in LA?Or the review score were based on their cajun food? IDK!!I went there for their AYCE lunch, oh man, was that a waste of food quota!I was planning to go back for the cajun food if the AYCE was good.But based on the food I had and the amount of customers they have, I really don't see how they can keep their seafood fresh at that turn over rate!I think the last time I had an AYCE sushi meal that is this bad, was at Ginza in Torrance years ago, and even that was better!Guess I get what I paid for!I feel bad for the wait staff, the 20% I got from yelp check in went right back to the tips, but I will definitely not return!

I ordered some food two nights ago via Uber eats and I had a terrible first experience ordering from this place. I received a call from the restaurant stating that another driver took my food. I am not sure why they wouldn't verify with the driver to make sure the right person was taking my food. The restaurant wouldn't offer to remake my order unless I had to pay even though it was their fault that I didn't get my dinner. I will not be eating here in the future.

Our family has been coming here for the crab special and the AYCE sushi at one point for 3 consecutive Saturdays and once with our extended family to celebrate a birthday. We loved our Saturday server, the variety on the AYCE sushi menu and the Cajun crab platters that catered to both kids and adults. I would've given 5 stars for our Saturday server and for the food in both quality and abundance. However sadly, today's (Sunday) visit was a sore disappointment.They discontinued the AYCE sushi menu and the crab platter that cost $70 was only enough to barely feed my 2 small kids. We mind as well have gone to the Crab house at Redondo Beach so all of us can eat our fill.

Food lacked flavor. Tempura was not fresh or flacky it was fried in heavy batter that didn't work well. Roll was oddly spicy and fishy. Tea was cold and not freshly brewed. Not authentic.

Twice I've ordered food from here from DoorDash hours in advanced for it to get cancelled yet they're still accepting orders. The cancellation comes through at delivery time so dinner has been ruined. If you refuse to fulfill smaller orders or for whatever reason that's fine but let people know asap and don't keep accepting orders.
