Crumbl - Cerritos

I know what you are thinking. The girl born on literal national dessert day definitely has tried crumbl cookie! And the answer is no. I'll tell you why, because I don't like standing in lines having to fight for my food. Luck was on my side and it wasn't packed like usual. There was still a pretty good amount of people here on a Tuesday around 1:30 pm. I walked in and you can see all the workers baking all the cookies. I do like the open kitchen / seeing them bake everything concept. But I didn't like how there was no interaction from the staff. Nobody greeted me or anything. You order from a kiosk and then they call your name and just hand you over the cookies. They didn't say anything. It just made it feel like a factory and not very warm. Especially since I was a first timer and couldn't ask questions like what their recommendations areIt's cool they have different cookies for different weeks. They were sold out of the one I wanted. I went with a 4 packThe churro cookieThe monster cookieThe cookie dough cookieAnd the plain chocolate chipI really wanted to try these because I've heard sooooooo many mixed reviews on themI did think they were good. But would I get them all the time? No. I think there's better dessert places out there. I do think they are over hyped on social media I do like the parking. I got parking right up close. They are in a huge area with tons of other bakeries and restaurants I also am a baker myself. I do like how they are soft. When I bake cookies I usually take them out a minute or two early and have them finish cooking on the cookie sheet so it's a bit soft like these. Because i will say they were a little under done. But I do like a soft chewy cookie. Usually that's people's main complaint I see about them. Or that they are too sweet I just wish there was more interaction fromStaff and you could ask questions If they come out with some flavors that I absolutely have to try, I'll definitely come back! Or if I know a cookie lover I'd grab them some from here.

Today I tried Crumbl for the first time. I got the chocolate chip cookie. It was good. The 1 star is for the service. The employees lack skills. Simple service industry skills. Acknowledge your customers, offer assistance, be professional, and make yourself available for questions. The vibe was lacking in every sense. Another customer walked out and asked me about my experience. Sounds like hers was worse. All of the basic skills are missing, yet, they ask for tips.

I decided to stop by Crumbl to get my daughter a treat instead of Halloween candy. Saw on their app they had a two-tier pumpkin cake flavor this week. Just HAD to have it!Weeks ago they had a carrot cake one that was similar and delicious! Even my 5yo loved it. So, when she saw the flavors this week she was like I want the carrot cake one. There is also a Dirt Cup cookie that is all chocolate w a gummy worm on top that I for sure thought she would want, but nope it was this one; the one I bought for myself. Thank goodness I bought two!!The chocolate one we couldn't pick up. It just crumbled, so we used a spoon for it, so wait until you get where you're going to eat it. I ordered on the app at the Cerritos location, across from the mall. The parking is cramped. They have an option on the app for curbside, but I don't see how. There were no markers or parking spots that I could see for curbside. So, I went inside instead. The store was dingy looking, the glass doors to open dirty with smudges. A piece of paper hanging with marker on it saying "NO CASH apple pay, card only" it was taped on by Crumbl cookie stickers and half coming off. The counter to take your order was disheveled looking and the counter to pick up your order was just plain, it looked as if something was missing. It took a few mins for someone to ask my name. The young man had no smile, in fact no one had a smile in there. He handed me my cookies and there was smudges of chocolate frosting on my box. The frosting to my pumpkin cake was very uneven and a tad off putting. Paying over $6 for it I was a disappointed. There was frosting on the top of my box when opening it up. I also bought the blue monster cookie w the chips ahoy and it is hard as a rock! I'm afraid we will break our teeth on this one. It says it comes with blue frosting, but ours is very light blue. I thought it would've been a little more blue. I usually go to the Whittier location and I will continue to go there. These cookies were not very fresh tasting, except the Dirt Cup which I had written was crumbly. Couldn't pick it up at all. It just fell apart.

Crumbl Cookies are everywhere in Utah, and I miss grabbing a box along with a drink from Dutch Bros--the perfect combo. The setup here is pretty standard: order at the sign, use the self-checkout, and you're good to go. Order go service. It has that familiar Crumbl ambiance I loved back in Utah. If you're stopping by, definitely try the waffle butter cookie. It's soft, buttery, with a hint of crispiness, and just melts in your mouth. Easily a perfect cookie!

These cookies seriously hit the spot. I generally like cookies that are on the softer side and a little underbaked and these are it!We went 30 mins before closing and half the flavors were sold out, which is to be expected with how popular these cookies are. There were still plenty of people coming in to order too. Service is super speedy though. Almost as soon as we ordered our cookie was being handed off to us by a staff member. I feel like the aesthetic of this place isn't as cute as other locations. Too much white and not much of the pink aesthetic but I appreciate how close this location is!I'll definitely be back for another late night sweet snack!

Crumble is a chain dessert shop that's blown up over the years. I haven't had it until recently and honestly, it's not really my jam. The type of cookie they serve is a little too sweet IMO and I'd much prefer the texture of a traditional chewy chocolate chip cookie.That being said, the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS cookie is pretty tasty with a good texture. I also had the banana pudding, which was also very tasty. The shop interior was clean and it was nice they displayed how cookies so folks can check out what they're ordering. Staff was ok and seemed to be working hard pumping out more and more cookies.

The Birthday Month cookie has to be redeemed in-person, and after I was rang up, the employee quickly boxed the Strawberry Shortcake Cookie and handed it to me. I used the app to advance order the Berries & Cream Cookie on a separate occasion, and the wait was around 5 minutes. Despite the hordes of people waiting for their cookies day & night, I've been fortuitous in avoiding long waits. Parking is at the Cerritos Promenade, and parking can be hard to come by. I usually park by Island Pacific & Four Seasons Buffet. Crumbl is located in-between California Fish Grill and L & L Hawaiian Barbecue. While high in price, Crumbl cookies are very good & large enough to consume half & leave half for later. It's best to order through the app/website and pickup later, as it gets quite busy with many people waiting for cookies. Between artisan cookies vs donuts, I'd handily take cookies all day. Crumbl is a fine guilty pleasure cheat day trip on the occasion where a sweet treat sounds like it would hit the spot.

We asked for a Twix but got a pink sugar. This is a mini box of 3 through door dash. Not sure what happened but the snickers was delicious! Oreos and milk was not as good as I thought. Pink sugar is their staple so pretty normal there.This is perfect if you don't want to waste ordering the huge cookies.

My cookies was Delivered delicious and warm The delivery was fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend for the kids as well.

Got my girlfriend the valentine's day menu! She cried of joy because it was so good! Will order more
