This is one of my favorite spaces to go to with my niece. She loves sushi and this spot has become a special place for us to come and bond over some rolls and edamame. We share food and appreciate how well their food is made. The staff is always warm and welcoming when we come by and they're very helpful when we aren't sure what to order. I appreciate places that take time to help you decide on what to eat ha... TOO MANY YUMMY OPTIONS!!I like the dim lighting and how you could still hear the person you're talking to, but the music and ambiance as well. That's important to me.

First time at Crazy Rock'N Sushi on 2/2/25 in Gardena. We liked the ambiance, it is a small restaurant but felt authentic. We waited a bit for a table. We were a bit confused as the gentleman who greeted us said to wait outside and come back so when I came back, I was waiting for him to guide us to our table. I was looking at the menu and he asks if there was anything I needed. I was like uh, I am waiting for a table. Anyway, we got seated and we started to order. We ordered a lot as we were excited to try a lot of their food. We ordered 2 bentos, 2 chicken cutlets with curry, udon with mixed tempura, sesame chicken, takomiyaki, mushroom miso, crunch roll. We thought everything was tasty. The bentos were a great deal. The beef teriyaki was tender and tasty. I got spicy tuna with mine and my husband and I enjoyed it. The kids really liked the crunch roll and everyone enjoyed all the food they ordered. Service was good for the most part. I thought our server was attentive but maybe lacked a bit of training to be a restaurant host? He spilled curry as he was trying to serve to our table. I also saw him drop a spoon and picked it up while looking at me. I did see him run something through the water in the back but why couldn't he just get a new spoon? Anyway, that was a bit awkward and unprofessional especially since I was looking right at him. Anyway, other than that, we thought the food was tasty, a lot of the food we ordered reminded us of our favorite restaurant that closed so we will definitely be back. We arrived during lunch time so we were glad they had a table for us. There was a line outside when we left. They are located in a big plaza with plenty of parking.

I came here to celebrate with a friend on a Friday evening. The wait for two was about thirty minutes, but as soon as we were seated, the food came super fast! The servers are super attentive and responsive. They made sure to check in on us and never rushed us. We ordered rounds of appetizers first, and then we ordered our entrees. It was a lot of food abs quite delicious. It's not a fancy place soYou don't need to dress up or anything. It's very chill!

If you're in the area, CRS is a good choice...provided the wait isn't long. At 330pm we had a 30 minute wait. The place is small, but the booths and tables are roomy - there just aren't many of them. Great cozy ambiance, clean and though it's small, and the place was packed, it did not feel crowded. We could easily walk in the aisles.Friendly service and swift too. I don't think there was more than a 4 minute wait for any of our choices to arrive at the table. Although the menu indicates they have Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, they had neither on this night. The server mentioned they had Sauvignon Blanc, but served me Cabernet Sauvignon. I called this out - he offered to bring me something else, I saved him time and consumed the wine that wasn't exactly great. The beer options are minimal. The Mr. enjoyed his hot sake x 2.I chowed down a plate of garlic green beans. I could have eaten another plate of these. So yummy. Mixed tempura was okay, though the veggie pieces were too large to dip into the paper cup of tentsuyu. A knife would have been useful, or better yet, the cook could have cut the pieces in half. And the paper cup of dipping sauce did nothing for aesthetics. His sushi was lovely, in his words "not bad". He ordered his favorites, including an, ahem, California roll. I reminded him that imitation crab isn't his fav, but he so loves the creamy "salad" inside a rice roll doused in soy and wasabi. I always get a laugh at those antics. California roll was, not bad - I ate 2 sections.Very easy to find and plenty of parking, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the condition of the parking lot. It's busy, cars are constantly moving into and out of spaces, so be patient. There's an enclosed dumpster smack in the middle of the lot and about 20 feet from the front door of CRS. Someone either failed to toss their trash properly, or the dumpster was full and unfortunately, there was a good amount of trash strewn around the enclosure - one had to step over or walk around to avoid the mess. The amount of trash took up 1 parking space. It's an eyesore and hopefully not an indication of the management company.CRS is worth a visit for a sushi fix, the menu has a nice variety for most. It's a bit out of our way, so unless we're in the area, we'd likely opt for something closer to home.

I was recommended to try this spot out from an old friend. So I came here to try out some sushi with another old friend that I was catching up with! The vibe of the restaurant is just like your typical sushi restaurant. It's nothing like your typical "hole in the wall" sushi place. It's a bit on the higher scale. I ordered a poke bowl (forgot to take a photo) and a spicy tuna roll. The poke bowl was delicious and big portioned. The spicy tuna roll was also delicious. Our waiter was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I would definitely try this spot again. The price is reasonable for the portions. So I think this is a good sushi spot to try out if you are nearby in Gardena.

My husband went in before 6pm on a Wednesday to grab us some sushi. It was busy but not that busy since it was still early for dinner. We ended up getting 2 rolls each since it's BOGO 50% off everything Monday through Thursday. -El diablo roll-Spicy crawfish tempura roll (only problem was it wasn't crunchy or crispy from the drive home)-Giant roll. -Zen sashimi roll. Good for the price. The spicy crawfish tempura roll and the giant roll were heavy and definitely worth it. I recommend, and we will be back to try other rolls.

The host was honestly so rude when we got there.. ignored us completely and when we asked what the wait time was he had a snobby response. The wait was about 35 minutes for a Friday night and there's no where to sit and wait, since it's a small spot, so we went back to our car. We got our food fairly quickly and the sushi was great, hence why I'm giving it a 4 star rating. Would def come back!

Thanks to Yelp! We were all surprised and happy to have tried this Japanese restaurant. A long list of good sushi choices, everything tasted great! The restaurant was well managed, servers were nice and attentive. It's a great spot for date night or casual business dining.
