Com Tam Dao Vien

Nice staff, lots of parking and no wait on a Wednesday night. Food came out quickly but grilled perfectly. Scissors were a little dirty so I wouldn't recommend using them.AYCE was order as much as you wanted in two rounds but we ordered so much the first round that we didn't go for a second. Definitely don't underestimate the portion sizes as the bowl of noodles/vegetables was very large and the meat was filling. We went with the original $20 as the extra $5 options didn't seem worth it. We definitely ate our money's worth and it was fairly crowded by dinner time. Would recommend for any big eaters looking for a good affordable time.

Honestly if you're looking for amazing service and a super cleanly facility this place is not that. But if you're look for good food with large portions then you're in the right place! Got the banh hoi combo and it's so filling, you'll be good for the rest of the day. My family ended up getting the com tam plates and loved it as well.

This "hole in the wall" is my favorite Com Tam restaurant. Although the ambiance is not the best, the food is good. The dishes that we've tried are Com Tam Thit Nuong, Bun Rieu, and Bo La Lot. I'm pretty picky with nuoc mam and I have to report that this establishment has the best nuoc mam served with the rice dishes. Don't expect too much in terms of service with a smile, but that's expected with restaurants like these.

My family and I have been going here for years and have experimented with other places, but we always come back to this one since it's the best. This place is more of a hole in the wall and known by locals. My favorite combination is Com Suon Bo Dai Han, Tau Hu Ky, Bi, and Cha. The portions are big and can even be split between two people. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Plus the workers are very fast and efficient. They do phone pick up orders, I recommend this if you're looking for a quick to go spot. ig: @cravingswithcat

Food is really good. Nice portions nice staff. There was one male server who was grossing me out. And he seemed to be the lazier one out of the two. He went from serving customers to cleaning tables to running his hands and fingers through his hair to touching the fish in the fish tanks and back again to customers. All without washing his hands. Thankfully he wasn't my server but yeah it was gross to witness.

My family's favorite com tam place in the OC area! Really good portion sizes and tasty food. All the meat is marinated very well and everything is fried fresh, nice and crispy. Not too greasy. The restaurant itself is quite large and lots of parking available in the plaza. Staff was attentive and food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant got full pretty quick, so it's quite popular! Saw people getting takeout as well. Definitely recommend if you're craving com tam!

One of my favorite broken rice places in the OC.This place is way less greasy than most of the other broken rice places and more of the items you see in my photos are morw fresh made. I especially love that they have banh hoi (rice vermicelli bundles) and hot pot here. I love getting the rice 5 colors (com tam 5 mau), it has everything I like, sometimes I add a sunny side up egg depending how hungry I am. The meats here are so tasty and easy to chew! (I have braces). Servers are quick to take your order upon arrival and very attentive. Also great for big groups! Recommend!!

Gone a few times within last year, very very good com tam with a taste that i'm familiar with. Wait time was a little long but they are busy most of the time, understandable. Overall experience are pleasant.

The food was delicious my kids ate the whole dish.I will come back because of the unforgettable taste.the grilled beef was very fragrant

This is the best local restaurant for Vietnamese broken rice dishes. Me and the wife tried the new AYCE option for $25.99 per person and what we got was a belly busting feast of traditional broken rice items including meat proteins that were marinated and grilled to perfection. I was being conservative ordering for the first round and the portions that came out was more than enough for two people. We never made it to the second round which was apparently the maximum limit for ordering according to their AYCE policy. Despite the ordering limits, we got to try everything on the menu and left fully satisfied with our huge food babies. We will definitely come back!
