The coffee shop was absolutely amazing and gorgeous! The prices are what you expect in Long Beach anywhere from 15-20$ for two drinks. The staff is absolutely lovely and very welcoming, I can definitely see myself reading a book here or doing some work on my laptop, just be advised that there aren't any charging ports or bring a portable battery. 10/10 would love to go back

As confirmed by the manager this place's main priority is profit not customers.Small and large drinks have the same amount of coffee in them. If so what's the point of ordering a larger drink, I don't want more milk, sugar and ice. I want more coffee. At $7 dollars a drink the owners should be ashamed of themselves. How much are you really saving by not adding one additional shot of espresso for a larger size? Surely not as much as you lose from potential returning customers being turned off by this.The greed is also apparent in the location. It is designed in a way that promotes getting customers in and out quickly with very uncomfortable seating and drastically overpriced merch for sale taking up what little space is available.

Coffee 4.5/5Ordered the seasonal butterscotch latte. Solid. Sweetness was just right and you could still taste the coffee. Nice balance of sweet to coffee ratio. Service 2.5/5The lady on register was nice. The two making the coffee didn't acknowledge me one bit (gentleman and lady with shoulder length brownish hair with blonde highlights. I said thanks for the drinks. Crickets. My wife said thank you when we walked out the door. Nothing. Not a great last impression when leaving a coffee shop. You want to feel greeted from the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave.

Even just the name of this place puts a smile on my face! It's a pretty small shop with only a few places to sit. I think it's a shop meant to grab your coffee and go-- not a linger-around-and-enjoy-the-WiFi-on-your-laptop type of place. The plants there were thriving and the displayed merch was so cute! When I visited, I was able to try:* The Instigator- not gonna lie, I partially chose this drink because the name was funny. It's iced shaken espresso with brown sugar and milk. A classic! Not too sweet, just enough coffee taste* On My Way! Latte- the house-made pistachio syrup with espresso and milk was so good! Wish there was more of a pronounced pistachio flavor. It was around $15 for 2 coffees-- kinda pricey, but all in all the experience was nice.

I want to love this place especially because I live so close but I really can't justify spending over $8 for a small cup of coffee. I'm glad I tried it though and I do love the interior decor and minimalistic design. Everything looks so high end from the espresso machine to the cups and pastries. It's also really clean and spotless. The service was good and really friendly too. I also wanted to get the sweatshirt but it was $65 which is insane. Their marketing and branding are great but the prices are not.

Cute coffee shop on the corner Ohio and E. 4th! Unique menu and fun theme! Coffee DrUNKKK for sure! We came here from our cruise.. did a random search and this one was decided because of the fun name! The pastries looked amazing! They have some merchandise for sale. I got the instigator with almond milk! Delicious! No issues. Very pleasant!

Came by for a cappuccino and the ratios were off...enough milk to make it taste like a latte. Combined with the lack of WiFi and any comfortable seating, there are just better and more versatile coffee options in the area.

The staff is super friendly and making conversation with the customers asking how everyone's day is.They recommended the investigator and butterscotch latte. I got the butterscotch latte hoping it would taste like the butterbeer from Harry Potter world. I would say it needs more flavoring of the butterscotch but it is still pretty good. The reason why I gave this a 4 star is because this location is not a great location to work or study. There's no wifi. The parking is street parking. The stools and tables are small and tiny that you have to hunch over to do work and your laptop won't fit the table. There is no public restrooms. My recommendation is if they want more customers is to open till 5 pm, have wifi, and bigger tables. Oh also allow bathrooms! This is the only coffee shop in Long Beach that's different from everywhere else. But overall I really wanted to give them a 5 star.

This is our go to neighborhood coffee shop. The quality of the coffee is great, the team is the best, and the vibe is totally on point. We go here a lot, and I mean a lot, in part because with love the drinks and the breakfast burritos, but more because we want to support an awesome local business and the top notch crew that works there. Welcome addition to the 'hood!

Been wanting to try this place out for a while now. So when you pass by unexpectedly, you plan to visit the next day since you were unable to stop. First off, the coffee shop is on Wardlow, which can get busy at times. They have a second location but this one is more convenient. There is only street parking and there isn't always a spot but since we stopped by in the morning it wasn't too bad. The shop is pretty cool and has the same vibe as other coffee shops in the LBC! Staff were great and the drinks were made fast. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Instigator and it was yummy. Not on the sweet side which was a plus. Plus, they have milk substitutes which were great. Price is similar to any other coffee shop but I definitely recommend to try this place out. Plus, the merch is really cool and I might stop by again to get some swag.
