Good food and portion sizes. The servers were attentive and service was good. All around good ambiance, especially if you want to catch a sports game

5 stars every time I come here. The vibes are so chill, the staff is stellar, and the lobster rolls are amazing! My favorite roll here is the Connecticut roll. The lobster is succulent and the roll is buttery deliciousness! It's so perfect every time and they are a good size. My usual gripe with lobster rolls is they're basically snack size but these rolls at coastal eat like a meal! I love the chill beachy vibes here, excellent seafood without the pretentiousness. I keep coming back here and you should too :)

Excellent seafood restaurant with a typical SoCal laidback beach vibe! It is close to the pier so parking was a bit hassle. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our group lunch here! I was browsing for restaurant options on Hermosa Beach for our friend gathering and made a reservation in the semi open Listening Room for a party of 15. The staff took great care of us. They not only replied promptly to confirm all details (we asked for TV hookup to watch Olympics), they also provided excellent service and took great care for our lunch. We ordered a few rolls which include the famous Maine roll with lobster, a few plates for chicken wings (lemon/pepper, bbq, buffalo), ceviche, and some burgers. Everything was excellent except for ceviche which I would say probably better off ordering from a Mexican restaurant. But lobster roll was a bomb! I also like their side of sweet potatoes they go with the rolls.

I was in the area for the international surf fest and had my doggos with me. Since my dog ate my lunch I had to buy my own. I don't expect lots of places to let me sit inside with one dog let alone two, even with my ESA documentation. But they gave me no issue whatsoever and I got to sit inside on the couch with them. One is trained and one is in training to be service animals. But the service and lack of attitude when I brought them in was super awesome.I got the daily special which was the burger but I guess it's always ten dollars. Whatever. It's that much at McDonalds these days. It was good by itself, nice brioche bun. They have lots of nightly events so it's probably more of a night spot as it was empty during lunch. Overall super chill spot I randomly parked near and I would definitely come back based on how my dogs were treated.

A sweet spot off the beaten path of Hermosa. LOVED it and was so so so happy with the chef coming out, they had a live band, and the food was legit. Downside but I'd say not something to hold against them, the bar tender was so slow ASF! I legit had to ask him multiple times for things. He said it was slow and he was able to handle our request but the truth is- he sucked. BUT I also had a super chatty and demanding friend with me so, I get it. But he was not good at all. BUT the food, the ambiance, location were FIRE- a must try local spot.

One of my fave restaurants in Hermosa. It's a great location, airy inside, and cool decor. The service is always friendly and quick. We enjoyed the clam chowder and the Maine and Connecticut rolls. I thought the wedges were just ok- a little too heavy on the seasoning for my taste. I'd come back to try more items though.

Been on a seafood kick lately, so decided to go to my local neighborhood restaurant to try their lobster rolls. I decided to try their Connecticut style Maine roll. They have a decent amount of lobster, flavor was pretty good. Felt like there was too much bread to lobster ratio though, and a little too much mayonnaise for me. Their bread was still quite tasty. Staff were great, service was fast! Even got to meet the chef! Cute beachy vibe!They are open for lunch on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays.

My favorite taco shop from a while back has now become Coastal and they recently started brunch menu.My friend and I happened to check their page hoping for their regular menu but their brunch menu did not disappoint!!!Omg the brioche French toast is to die for!!! I could barely focus on what my friend was saying because I wanted her to hurry and grab a piece so I could go for seconds lolIt is crispy like a churro but soft on the inside. The chef came out later and he said he was definitely going for the churro feel. He soaks the brioche, then pan fry then fries it briefly to coat it with the cinnamon sugar. Their Connecticut was amazing too. Fries amazing!!! If their brunch is this delicious, I can't wait to try their main menu!!!Hands down my new favorite French toast place!!!Staff were super friendly too! We went on Sunday morning and it was sooooo dead! I am surprised there aren't more people!!! This place was a great find of 2024 for me!

this place has three different names and almost impossible to find. Was going to meet a friend and went on their website to find their address which is not listed. Also, there's nothing about an outdoor patio, which would be great to know. I finally walked to their establishment today to meet a friend and they were closed with it posted right on their door that they should be open. Also, when I called the establishment, the hours of operation were different hours of operation on their voicemail or on their door. I think it's a young company, but you don't ever get a second first impression.
