Churros Don Abel

If you're looking for churros, you can stop looking and start running over to Churros Don Abel Jr! You'll find that the churros are basically perfect - nice and crispy but not too heavy and dense. Cinnamon sugar mixture is just right and bonus, the churros actually hold their crunch even after a couple hours!I've always really enjoyed Churros Don Abel in East LA so I was pleasantly surprised to find this truck in the Long Beach neighborhood! When I stopped by on the weekend, I found the truck to be at the intersection of Atlantic Ave & E 45th Way (in front of Wells Fargo) The only difference I noted was that at Don Abel Jr, it is made to order which can lead to having to wait a little longer. But regardless definitely worth the wait in my book!Tip: free cafe de olla on the weekends

So my 5 stars are purely based on taste. My cousin so kindly added me on her churro run and delivered this fresh, still warm, and delicious bag of churros. It was raining at this time too so it must be some good churros to go out in the rain.I came across their post on IG and thought I needed to go get some of those churros sometime soon. Let me tell you, these churros are light and airy with a good crunch on the outside. Not overly sugared, either. My husband, daughter, and myself devoured them in a short period of time. Will definitely take a trip to get more!

I've heard from people around the neighborhood that the churros here are the best, so I was really excited when we saw this truck. The biggest issue we had was that it took forever to get our six churros. We waited almost an hour in the cold, it was crazy. There were some groups in front of us but we didn't think it would take that long. They also forgot about our order and put one person ahead of us, which is not so bad, except it had been taking so long already. Once we finally got the churros we ate them right away because we were so hungry at that point. They were pretty good, quite crunchy, and they do not skimp on the sauce. They didn't have enough cinnamon and sugar on them though as many of them had almost none. So overall between waiting almost an hour and having very little cinnamon sugar on the churros, I wouldn't say they're the best around.

Delicious freshly made churros. Churros with cajeta and fresa are so good. Choco milk was amazing. Service was fast and great. Very well lit atmosphere.

BEST CHURROS EVER! They are always fresh, not greasy. The guys running the truck know what they are doing and very respectable. Go get churros from them!!

When I come visit my family in Lynwood, I make sure to stop by and get a bag of delicious freshly made Churros from this food truck. Because their Churros are made fresh to order you'll wait a bit for them, but it's worth it. Every time I received kind & attentive service here. You have a quick craving for sweets. This Churro spot is it.
