Cheddr Wheel

When I saw a food truck covered in the names of various kinds of cheeses, I knew I had to try it. The majority of the menu consists of quesadillas but they also serve loaded corn, nachos, and tater tots. You want to go with the quesadilla. The Philly Cheese Steak Quesadilla comes stuffed with tender steak, sautéed onions, mushrooms, peppers, provolone and jack cheese, and cheese sauce. You can't go wrong with 3 kinds of cheese! And this was a hefty quesadilla. They didn't skimp on anything and we loved the combination of flavors. A solid choice from a food truck.

This truck was in my area so I thought it was worth a shot. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the amazing photos.Chimichurri Quesadilla - Flavorless. I got nothing from the peppers, onions, or mushrooms. The chimichurri itself was nonexistent. The menu said that it would come with tater tots. It came with five measly pieces, so don't expect much. Definitely disappointing.Chicken Pesto Quesadilla - Again, lacking in flavor-- as if they didn't have any salt or pepper onboard! The chicken was not seasoned, and the pesto itself was weak. Even the pesto that was drizzled on top wasn't enough.Garlic and Parmesan Tater Tots - Was really looking forward to this. The portion seemed a bit small, and it lacked any kind of distinct garlic flavor. There was parmesan, though.

I'm not one to write a review but good god these quesadillas are bomb! I ordered their chimichurri steak quesadilla not really knowing what to expect and I have to say I'm impressed. To start, it was grilled just right with a great crust. Next, the steak was cooked to perfection and with the melty goodness of the cheese just made such an excellent pairing. And last but not least is the chimicurri. Not your average chimichurri that would've taken over the entire flavor profile but the perfect balance of subtleness and intensity. P.S. How could I could leave out the tots! I got the jack cheese pesto tots which would've made Napoleon Dynamite proud. To sum it up, they are a must have if you catch'em outside. How bou dat?

I invited Cheddr Wheel to be a part of a community event to sell their food. As the organizer, I had to email/connect with the owner several times and he was very professional and quickly responded to all of my messages and emails! Great to work with you if you are looking to invite a food truck to your local event!As a foodie, I invited Cheddar Wheel because I wanted to try their chimichurri nachos! Let me tell you the chimichurri meat did not disappoint! Great portion size and the sauce on top was my favorite part. The only thing is I wish the nachos had real melted cheese instead of canned nacho cheese. My boyfriend ordered the basil pesto quesadilla and a side of the garlic tater tots, although he did like the quesadilla the star of the show was the tater tots! They were fried to perfection and as a garlic lover, they were very flavorful! I got a lot of positive reviews from our staff and visitors. I did not get to try their vegan quesadilla however I heard it was the first item to sell out so it must have been really good. Overall great customer service and good food!

Went to the Cheddr Wheel today during the San Dimas Christmas parade. So glad I found this gem! I tried the pesto steak quesadilla! The pesto sauce was amazing! Absolutely Amazing!!! The steak was tender and the cheese... oooey gooey yummy! I truly enjoyed the carmalized onions and the whole flavor profile within this quesadilla. My son got a buffalo chicken quesadilla that he loved! My daughters both got the kid's special... cheese quesadilla with tots. They both really liked them. Overall this was a great trip and I would totally come again!

Thank the gods! I've never had a quesadilla like this before. The tortilla was so somehow magically thin and crispy. They used some kind of magic to support an incredible amount of cheese and chicken. There was the right amount of pesto in every bite. To top it off it came with a satisfying but not overpowering side of complementing tater tots. I'll be back every chance I get! Side note; an estimated 38 carbs is the perfect amount for those of us trying to stay healthy. Well done!

A-ok.. snuggled up against scholb.. and daring to pump out everything adorned with cheese. Including elote dusted with hot Cheeto dust! The guys were awesome to split our corn into three so us three girls could indulge! This steamed or roasted corn was lucious on a stick! Definitely order this when you come and enjoy it with your ipa.... and better halves. The quesadilla with chimichurri was not steamy fresh and hot.....i guess it caught a cold when I received it however, if it were hot I think I would love it because the cheese would be all gooey and be running down my face. The Chimichurri sauce was vibrant, and lovely. I could just imagine it on it skirt steak. Definitely a great enhancement to some lovely beers. The long week Ended on a great note by stopping here ! And better way to start a long weekend!!!

Terrible experience with Cheddr Wheel at The Truckyard and will never go back. They stopped taking orders for 20 minutes, and so we were waiting like the other 10 people behind us. We waited 30 minutes. Then the owner of the food truck was then approached by one of his friends, and skipped the entire 20 minute wait and got his order entered before us and the 10 other people waiting. Terrible ownership, will never spend any money with them. Recommend you stay away unless you want to wait and be skipped.

Bomb Delicious Quesadillas!! Crispy Tatter Tots!!! I recommend the Pesto and the Mole!!!

ACTUALLY ITS ZERO STARTS BUT THATS NOT POSSIBLE SO IM GIVING YOU A ONE. Anyway, It's a fresh February Wednesday. Our school has been talking up these food trucks for weeks, and I was promised a quesadilla. Not a difficult promise to fulfill. Lunch starts, I SPRINT to the bus loop and there I see it: the Cheddr Wheels food truck. I get in line, and it's already like super duper long. But whatever, you know, we have an hour for lunch, surely I can get my quesadilla in a timely manner and enjoy the delicious mozzarella, chicken, and pesto quesadilla I was told I'd be given. For fourteen dollars, mind you. BUT NO. I wait in line for a total of over 50 minutes (a bit much for a quesadilla if you ask me), and then lunch ends. I have no quesadilla, and I'm left with a soggy cookie, melted ice cream, and no chicken pesto quesadilla. And, you may think, oh, well if the line was long, thats not their fault. Don't blame them. NO. INCORRECT. You know why? Because their service and workers suck major booty. Instead of taking orders in an efficient or productive way, they choose to take one order, and wait until they make the quesadilla, fries, get the drink, plate it, and serve it before taking the next order. WHY? We'll never know. But here's what I do know. I have chicken pesto quesadilla. I'm heartbroken, and it's your fault, Cheddr Wheels. Nice job.
