Charlie's Sub Sandwich Station

Don't let this sandwich spot fool you. Yes, it is located inside of a gas station, but this is probably the best sandwiches in town! The portions are huge and the price is great. I've tried almost all of their sandwiches, but the ones that we get on a weekly basis are the spicy meatball, Charlie's special, pastrami, BLTA, and the chicken club. To be honest, all of their sandwiches are fire. I stop by here at least 1-2 times a week for me and my co-workers. Def worth the try.I would recommend calling ahead and ordering as sometimes the wait can get long if you show up at lunch time.The ladies are super nice and I really like Roberto who runs the cashier and gas station side.I really enjoy coming here to get sandwiches.

Sandwiches are pretty good , great for a quick snack when getting gas & on the go .. customer service is always sweet & the girls can recommend some of there best sandwiches , my personal favorite is the Charlie special but you can't go wrong with any of the subs

Tucked away on the east side of Wilmington in a gas station back room is Charlie's. I was skeptical about this place at first, I've driven by many times and never considered going in based on the location and look but today I was in the area and had a hankering for a good sandwich so I dove in & I'm Glad I did. Got the Charlie's sandwich with extra ham and I was a generous serving. The bread was probably on its last day of freshness but the meats were quality and the sandwich was stuffed to its max with fixings. Looked good, tasted good and definitely worth the $14.99 price point I paid. Will definitely return and recommend.

I regret not coming here earlier. Recommended by people years ago and finally went. I got their special and was not let down, great sandwich. just a hole on the wall inside an arco, Pay cash to avoid the 35 cent charge from arco lol. Highly recommend I love me some sandwiches.

I've tried their beef dip and their pastrami sandwiches. They are big sandwiches. They are not stingy with the meat. That being said, I didn't love the taste of their pastrami. I also felt the sliced beef in the dip sandwich was slightly dry and the dip aus jus itself was bland and watery.While their sandwiches are big, they are almost $20 after tax for the large, and if you get the small, it's like half the sandwich for $13. A bit overpriced especially considering the location.They exist inside of an Arco in Wilmington, and you have to pay the Arco cashier. Very strange.

The fact that Wilmington doesn't have any other deli spots is mind blowing. Charlie's is always my go to! The sandwich portions and the price are just right and fresh! All the workers are always friendly. Will definitely continue coming back.

Charlies uses the freshest ingredients and they don't skimp on the goods! The bread is fresh and the veggies crispy! One of the few places who doesn't price gouge! The sandwich chefs are always polite and the place is very clean.

I've been going here for the past five years. There sandwiches never disappoint. You definitely get a bang for your buck. The sandwich is the perfect size to leave satisfied.

We come here a few times a month and we quite enjoy their sandwiches. It's a little cramped in the gas station while you wait but not too bad. The people are friendly.
