From the outside, Cha2O is like any other quintessential boba spot that you would stumble into. However, the freshly made boba and use of real ingredients is what sets them apart. Boba is made every 3 hours to ensure maximum chewiness and freshness! I also appreciated the big serving sizes and the perforated packaging that helps prevent sogginess. In addition, shoestring fries are used so it remained crispy even after we took it home! Food/Drink:* Real Taro Milk Tea: Made fresh daily using real taro root, Japanese purple yam, and pandan leaves, topped with coconut cream * Fruity in da Booty: Strawberry, pineapple, mango fruit juice blended with bananas; mixed with strawberry puree and green mango bits; topped with seasonal fresh fruit * Garlic Fries: Fries drizzled with garlic butter oil, sprinkled with fresh herbs * Popcorn Chicken: Crispy, bite-size chicken pieces

I ordered the Bananarama with extra boba no whip cream. Banana is a VERY strong flavor that usually overpowers other flavors really easily, so I knew the minute I tried the drink that they didn't put any banana in it. It tasted like a straight vanilla shake with quite literally zero hint of banana. If I wanted a vanilla shake I would've gone to In-N-Out. There wasn't any banana bits on top either like the description said there'll be. Overall pretty disappointing. Service and ambiance was the only reason why I gave two stars since the employees were nice and the place was clean.

Cha2o always brings back such good memories of catching up with friends over boba and popcorn chicken. It's been a while since we've last visited but we were so happy to know that they're still serving up great drinks and some of the BEST boba! Everything we ordered --Matcha Bae (ceremonial matcha green tea with organic oat milk and homemade mousse)--Bikini Peach (peach juice blended with fresh peaches, mixed with strawberry swirls and strawberry puree, topped with seasonal fresh fruit)--Popcorn Chicken w/ sweet & sour dipping sauce (mild )Their boba is super chewy, soft, and made fresh every 3 hours. It even stays soft and chewy with their ice blended drinks! They've been doing this since 2012 so they're definitely boba pros Popcorn chicken is a must if you visit! They also have this unique box it comes in with slits on the side so your popcorn chicken stays crispy. WHAT A GAME CHANGER!

I went here last 2 days with my husband. It's seem like the stuff know my husband very well just wondering if cha 2 O give stuff a green light to share personal life with customers too ... if so this is a great opportunity of yours store to have a chance to earn more customers (but not my husband)

This is a cute little place to grab some great drinks and some yummy snacks! Parking might be a bit challenging, I did park on the street, but it's easy to get to!Service is amazing! They get your orders and the make sure that everything is made in a timely manner. Their boba is made every 3 hours so you don't go without fresh made Boba!Here's what we ordered:Popcorn Chicken - it's delicious and crispy. We got it in mild so it has just a small amount of heat.Garlic fries - the garlic butter on these fries, OMG. Flavors are great, the perfect amount of garlic on it! You just can't go wrong!(Note: Had the leftovers, the box style has made it so that the popcorn chicken and fries stayed crispy, even without reheating!)Fruity in da Booty - this was a delicious drink, with pineapple, peach, strawberry, and fresh mango! If you're in need of a great fruit smoothie, get this!Taro Milk Tea - I haven't gotten into taro until a few years ago, but let me tell you, this drink is so refreshing and delicious. I absolutely loved every sip of that drink!Overall, this is a great spot to even just vibe with a drink and a snack. I'd highly recommend to try it out!

This spot was easy to locate, Anna is conveniently across the street from the college. Parking was easy. I enjoyed the Cookies N'Cream with boba Floating cloud matcha with refreshing coconut water and popcorn chicken. The boba is made fresh daily. If you like popcorn chicken that has amazing spices and lots of chicken, little breading this is for you! I loved the flavor , spice and chicken ratio. Plenty of seating inside, or grab and go. Staff was friendly and helpful!

What I Ordered:Brown N White CoffeeTaro Milk TeaGarlic FriesPopcorn ChickenFood: Brown N White Coffee is an espresso shot with condensed milk that gives the perfect combination of sweet and bitter. It is topped off with a sweet mousse. I am in love with coffees with cream top these days, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I can tell that the level of caffeine in this drink is super high since I was not able to fall asleep last night till 3AM... The Taro Milk Tea was delicious as well! It was different from other boba shops as it used real Taro root and Japanese Purple Yam! I love that it was gently sweetened but still had strong flavors of Taro. The boba they added onto this drink was absolutely phenomenal. They apparently cook fresh boba EVERY 3 HOURS, which means no mushy or rock hard boba. I've been finding it to be difficult to find boba shops with quality boba, and this is the place!The Garlic Fries and Popcorn Chicken were great snacks to have if you get hungry. They use a ton of garlic for their fries and their popcorn chicken uses a light batter so that each bite is full of chicken!Service: Staff was friendly and service was fast!Ambiance: Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Good amount of parking in the plaza, and you can also park near the neighborhood area.

I went in on a Saturday, and it wasn't too bad.Ambiance/Environment: This is Cha2o's original spot. It's a perfect place to go on a date, catch up with friends, or a study session. This location is only to-go/quick grab & go. Very cute inside with decent amount of seating. I love the lights, colors, and mirrors inside.Service: Staff was amazing! The cashier was very knowledgeable. Throughput was approximately 7 minutes.Snacks & drinks:1) Matcha Cloud - I had to try their new Matcha Cloud! It's coconut juice crowned with ceremonial matcha mousse. They're the only ones that offer this! The matcha was very creamy, and the drink itself is refreshing. Make sure you don't mix it like me lol .. enjoy the drink from the top and embrace the matcha mustache. 10/102) Brown N' White Coffee - As a crackhead for caffeine, of course I had to try the coffee. This is an espresso shot sweetened with condensed milk and crowned with homemade mousse. This drink reminded me of a lighter Vietnamese coffee. Definitely creamy and a tad sweet from the condensed milk. 10/103) Popcorn Chicken - This is a true definition of what popcorn chicken is. The perfect bite size and very crispy. I like that you can adjust the spiciness from nonspicy, mild, medium, and very spicy. I got the mild and very spicy - oof so delicious. Don't forget to dip it with the sweet n sour sauce. 9/104) Cajun Fries - They were very generous with the Cajun seasoning! I didn't dip the fries with the ketchup; I dipped it with the sweet n sour sauce lol. Very flavorful. 9/10Pricing: Prices are definitely $$$ more than average. Let's be honest, everything went up. I think it's worth it for the unique flavors they offer.

My new favorite spot for Taro Milk Tea. The taro actually tastes fresh, not the fake powerdery stuff. The owner informed me it was made from real taro and Japanese yam. The Boba was also next level soft and chewy.

Revisiting this place after 2 years, and I noticed a lot of good changes! My last visit was actually back in Fall 2021-Spring 2022 and I was in my last year of college over at Cypress College which is across the street. I noticed that some boba drinks now use sealable lids, like what you see in other boba shops. The service was really quick, and the ambiance never changed & it still feels the same, in a good way. I ordered the Black Milk Tea with Crystal Boba, and it was like a trip memory lane. I miss having those boba runs during after school hours. Will come back again in the future!
