This place is addicting. Let me start by prefacing and warning that the line is out the door no matter what time you stop by. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Is it going to keep you from coming back? Never. Cha for tea is one of the fondest places in Long Beach for me. I went to CSULB and will always stop by the place even if I don't go there anymore. The mango green tea is truly amazing. There's something about the ingredients. The tea has to be from out of this county or even out of this world. The mango used is an unknown brand but it's perfect and doesn't taste artificially. As for customer service, it's a pay at the counter and pick up on the other side pretty much like Starbucks. The cashiers will never move from their spot, and they always provide great service but it's not the best in business or the reason people return. It's the tea that brings people back. Parking is not that easy, believe it or not. Although it is in a plaza strip mall, there's always tons of people at this area. Great part of Long Beach, but you'll be driving a while finding somewhere to park your car. If you get the chance to stop by I do recommend it. Try the mango green tea and any of their appetizers. Absolutely delicious!

Food: This is a place I'd come by if I was in the area and hungry, not somewhere I'd venture out to. The milk teas have an artificial taste to them, matcha tasted very diluted. The food isn't bad just not great. I do enjoy the orange tofu plate with noodles and veggies. Parking: This cha for tea is located in a shopping plaza with multiple other food places/shops so parking is convenient.Service: Service is good and quick, food comes out at a reasonable time. Ambiance: Very casual vibes, next to the VA hospital so lots of hospital staff who come to grab to go food. Not the nicest area, several homeless individuals around this shipping plaza.

Cha for Tea might be a little nostalgic as it was something that I used to pick up years and years ago when studying as an undergraduate. It's still a favorite of mine. My go to drink here is the honey jasmine milk tea with boba. The honey is the perfect sweetener, the balance between milk and tea is perfect, and the boba is perfectly chewy. I love that the warm boba is consistently chewy every time I come. Their popcorn chicken is also a great snack and I can't resist buying it. If I'm in the area, I almost always stop by here for a drink. I definitely stop by if I'm in my old stomping grounds in Irvine. It definitely is one of my favorite spots for a tapioca milk tea.

I was in Long Beach by the VA center and went back to Cha for another perfectly made chai boba tea and decided to eat lunch there also. The menu is right there on the wall as you walk in. Healthy light options of Asian favorites very fairly priced. I ordered the vegetarian plate option with crispy fried tofu, corn, a house salad with a really tasty sesame seed dressing and I chose the garlic noodles, which were delicious. The young girl taking my order was really nice and helpful. They sell boxed teas and cute anime' type stuffed toys there and the whole place just has such a good vibe. Seating both inside and on the sidewalk outside. I would rate Cha a star above.

Came here after eating at sushi place in the same parking lot, and decided to try the hot almond milk tea. I really liked it! I was glad that there were no actual almonds in there (which is what I always forget when I order hot almond drinks from another popular dessert place that starts with M - the almond flavor is great, but I'm constantly spitting out almond pieces). Also nice that there was a decent amount of seating, so my party of four could hang out for a bit.

This Sunday evening brought us to Cha For Tea. A favorite of my GF who is an CSULB Alumni. It was busy for the dinner rush hour but the staff and service were top tier, appreciate the fast service. The food was good!

I love ordering from this place when I'm craving a mango green tea! It's close to work, but not quite close enough for a quick drive, so I usually order through DoorDash. Their boba is always cooked to perfection, and I've noticed their popcorn chicken has improved over time. I've been ordering from them for the past three years, and today, the chicken tasted the best it ever has.

I come here for the hot teas (the iced teas hit the spot as well especially in the warmer months). Something not easily known just by the name is food. Yes, they have a nice little menu of food items. Chicken, pork and beef options. I like the crispy chicken plate. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's pair well with some sweet and sour sauce. Add some sides like rice and a salad and you're all set. The service is friendly and the place is clean. Located in a chill small shopping area with plenty of parking.

Been coming to here since Alhambra days and they never simply disappoint always consistent, which is the most important part of any restaurant business these days. Happy to always stop by whenever I see a cha for tea feeling nostalgic. Hands-down, the best popcorn chicken anywhere especially for the price. Definitely get the sauce!

This place is hands down my favorite boba spot! Whenever I'm in town, it's my first stop, without fail. Their mango green tea is my absolute favorite--it's so refreshing and flavorful that I always get it. But honestly, everything on their menu is top-notch. From their drinks to their food, you really can't go wrong. I've never heard anything negative, only glowing feedback from my friends. The inside of the shop is super cute, and the vibe is always welcoming. The employees are so nice and sweet, which makes every visit that much more enjoyable. If you're looking for great boba and a friendly atmosphere, Cha for Tea is a must-visit!
