Helloooo all my beautiful yelpers back again with another review! It's been a minute but I have to say I am excited for this one! Only downside is I do not have a photo but I do still have an amazing review ! I will eventually be back to take photos but for now I'll leave my words. This spot right here is special to me because it means a lot to the love of my life who's grandma goes here for her fried fish! They are amazing! Friendly staff and let's not forget the amazing food! Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful! Not salty or soggy! Everything is made to order so freshness is guaranteed! Growing up my mom would make fried catfish and this spot makes it taste just like moms and that is always a number one factor when I go to places like this! The hush puppies were on point! Not over done or under just perfect in every way possible! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting LA or simply lives there this place is worth it. Let me breakdown my order for youI got a fish combo with 8 pieces of shrimp and 4 pieces of fish (I chose tilapia as my fish) it came with friesMy wife got $15 worth of catfish (amazing) Then we finished it with drinks and hush puppies! They used to sell delicious fish. I went yesterday and bought 2 1/2 lbs of catfish and it was horrible. Tasted like it was cooked in rancid grease. $16 a pound is too much to charge for rancid food. WON'T BE BACK

This is my first time trying this fish market and I'm very satisfied. The shrimp, hush puppy, and fries were well seasoned, but the red snapper could use more flavor. I saw other reviews of customers shrimp being small, but I was fortunate to get the large size shrimp. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area.

First time here. This place has some really great guys working and I received excellent customer service. Got the shrimp and fish lunch combo. I chose to try the catfish. It was delicious. No complaints with the shrimp either. Everything was packaged up nicely and ready to transport. The French fries taste just like the ones my mom makes so I liked those too. Also came with a hushpuppy, 2 slices of wheat bread, ketchup, hot sauce and tartar sauce. And napkins...all for under $10!! Will come back here next time I get a craving for some fried fish :)

I ordered a fish, shrimp and oyster dinner. When I arrived home, I noticed I had a half eaten piece of fish in my meal. It obviously wasn't mine, because I had catfish filet. The half eaten piece had bones. I called right away and was told to come talk to the owner. It was at closing so I would have to come another day. When I came, I was told a totally different story. I won't be eating there again. This was a horrible experience

Very small portion for LARGE price!! I mean they actually tried to serve a 1/2 a piece of fish as 2 pieces of fish with a combo of 8 pieces of shrimp. Rip off!!! I was disappointed upon receiving my order. AND TO TOP THINGS OFF THE FISH WAS NOT TASTY!!! JUST NASTY!!

Okay honestly I NEVER write Yelp reviews but this is the nastiest fish I've ever had. First of all the shrimp is listed as medium... these shrimp are almost the same size as the shrimp that comes in the cup of noodles. These shrimp look like the shrimp chips sold at seafood city. These shrimps are so small I had to double check to make sure they weren't crickets. The fish taste like straight OIL. The inside is just raggedy. The tartar sauce is so nasty. The only good thing is the fries..... OH and my catfish filets? Small and dry. So disappointed. Will never come back. And to top it off I got 4 filets and 8 of these micro shrimp w/ the fries 2 pieces of WIC bread and hush puppies (these were also good). This came up to $23 and I used an ebt card so this meal would've been about $27. I'm so mad that's why I'm still typing I promise I don't even write reviews!!!!

I've brought fish from this establishment for over ten years, with no discrepancies. On this particular purchase, I only wanted (15) "hushpuppies'", & (2) sweet potato pies. As a Standard, I would wait for the hushpuppies for approximately (10) minutes. On this particular occasion the hushpuppies were handed to me immediately? When I got home, I Immediately tasted one; Only to find out they were damaged! It was evident that these puppies were for a previous order that someone didn't pick-up? I immediately went back explaining what happened. I didn't want the money, just a fresh order of hushpuppies, that were done. Long Story-Short, the owner refused to give me a fresh order, or return my money? So, after this ordeal, you know I will not be returning ever to this market. Now I'm somewhat skeptical after (10) years of patronizing this market, & I'm treated in this manner?

Taste was ok, but the fish pieces were very small and med. shrimps looked like each one was cut in 1/2.

ZERO STARS, BEWARE! I've been here 20 times in the last 6 months driving from El Segundo and Western to get fish and oysters, etc. I discovered when I got home (Gardena) that the fish pieces were too small. I called back and they said bring in a picture the next time I come and they would make an adjustment. When I went back the black guy says the pieces were normal. When I asked to speak to the owner he said the owner didn't speak English. Every time that I've come here the owners English was perfect. Every time I asked for extra bread or tarter sauce he knew how to give me what I wanted and charge me more money! Never again. You can't cook my food and get over on me. Never again. ZERO STARS. I WON'T BE SPENDING $22 every 2 weeks no mo with you! If I wanted a kids plate that's what I would have ordered! BEWARE!
