i had the chilaquiles and the order was ample, delicious and spicy. i enjoyed a chai latte with it...another ample serving that served as a sweet finish. jon had the thursday breakfast bowl with chorizo enjoyed with a modelo. i'd say the serving was small compared to mine.the service was great and friendly. the interior is not large, good use of natural materials and plenty of window seats. there are also several 2 seaters on the sidewalk. this was a great stop for our brunch on a chilly day after doing some fishing in huntington beach.

A true Seal Beach gem. The owner, Craig, and his team stay true to a classic diner vibe yet, the menu is full of fresh, new dishes that showcase a Mexican twist.Maria handles the entire floor like boss.Kendall handles the drink/food run station like a boss.Together, those 2 make it happen!Food favs-- Talk about bang for your buck, the portions are plentiful.-Chiliqualis- the heat of the green salsa is right in the middle, not to hot, not to mild-California benedict- true decadence-Breakfast sandwich- old school and packs a punch of flavor (a fav for the weekly customers)-Banana Nutella Waffle- the ingredients are balanced perfectly for both the young and forever young-Bonus! Mimosas with 5 different juice options!

This is my favorite breakfast restaurant EVER. It has been two weeks since I ate here, and the meal was so good that I can't get it out of my mind. Our party of four had breakfast burritos and I had a vegetarian omelet. All of us were blown away by the deliciousness of the food, the quality of the service, and the pleasant ambiance of the restaurant. I mean, it was exquisite.I am such a picky eater. If someone undercooks or overcooks my eggs, it's over. I'm a coffee snob. I hate greasy potatoes. To truly enjoy a meal, I need lots of flavor, warm food, and friendly service. I got all of that and more.I can't wait to return to this place. Wish I lived closer!

Came here for brunch with the girls great food! Came out hot and delicious. Get the chilaquiles and Nutella strawberry and banana crepes. I would definitely be back again. Went on a Tuesday which was a bit busy. Waitress was so kind.

Quaint restaurant tucked on a business street mixed with restaurants. They were busy when we arrived and then it fizzled down. We were seated quickly and our order taken, but it took what I felt was a long time (at least 20 min) to get our food. I didn't think that it would take that long since we ordered relatively easy entrees. The salsa verde is really tasty and was a much needed addition to the fit plate. I would've liked them to have cut off the brown pieces from the avocado before serving. The spicy BLTA was big with good flavor. The potatoes were cooked good and mixed with the salsa verde.

Service was wonderful, breakfast was delish. Hubby had eggs, toast and potatoes. A tad disappointed the potatoes didn't have a seasoning or onions/bell peppers. I ordered the French toast with berries, aplenty. Buttered, warm and a small dish of syrup; perfect and filling. Coffee was okay. I would've liked a flavored creamer, a dash of cinnamon or Abuelita shaved chocolate atop, just a suggestion. Overall, a nice experience on the Main street of Seal Beach. Try to eat indoors if possible, so many pedestrians and patrons waiting while you're eating outdoors on the sidewalk. The fresh salt air makes it a nice experience

Food is delicious and tasty! The churro waffle is a must try. The service is prompt and the servers are so helpful with the menu and what to try. Came here on a busy day, so it is your typical perky breakfast/ brunch place. You will to wait to be seated ours was about 30 minutes but that speaks volumes about the food.

Have started coming here a couple of months ago and really enjoying everything we try. Their California Benedict has a wonderful hollandaise sauce and I enjoy the layered ham instead of the single slice of Canadian that others use. The eggs are perfectly cooked. Today we also tried their berry toast which is their homemade English white toast with a light spread of their homemade almond butter and peach glaze. Topped with fresh juicy berries and some crunchy almond topping, it fits all the mouth cravings of slightly sweet, creamy, crunchy and yummy healthy. (I think) haha. We sit outside but there are several tables inside.

The food here is so good. This place is always busy and it's way too small for how busy it is. The Mollete is just outstanding. The breakfast burrito with chorizo is also good. The crepes are to die for. They also have great lattes! Parking is rough which prevents me from coming more often but I always get a nice little walk to the cafe from wherever I find parking. I really like that they have an online ordering system too.

chilaquiles - +$6 for ground beef (carne asada) and a mountain of lettuce. Little to no chipsWhen checking in, they stated a 20 minute wait. We walked away for 5 minutes and came back, after waiting for the 20 minutes our name was never called. After we asked about our table the hostess was extremely rude stating we left and our name was called and walked away. I had to get her attention to come back to tell her we walked away for only 5 minutes and we had a timer set.
