Carnitas El Artista

The best carnitas I've ever had, no contest. And I've had my fair share throughout California.Was in town and looked up carnitas on Yelp and this one came up so I checked it out. So glad I did! I got the carnitas and also lengua, which was pig lengua. Simply the juiciest, most flavorful, most tender meats I have ever had in a taco. And the portions were huge - this was not your ole little street taco. They had a salsa bar to the side with some legit sauces. I told the staff I was from out of town and they were super friendly and told me about the pig lengua. Extremely chill spot with parking and plenty of seating (it seemed many people got carry out).I would go back to LA just to have these tacos again. They were that good.

Mexican Spot in Inglewood. Nice little vibe, outdoor and indoor seating available. Clean and welcoming! Beautiful and kind staff. Food: We had Strawberry Lemonade and Horchata. Both were perfect! Lemonade was not too sweet, fresh strawberries. Horchata was the same, not too sweet, just perfect! We got two 3 taco plates which came with rice and beans. One Carne Asada Plate and one carnitas. The tacos were full of meat which would've been great but both plates the meat was way too dry and lacked the flavor that we are used too. When I say dry, I'm not exaggerating. We didn't even finish one taco each. Even with adding crema and sauce the tacos couldn't be saved. We boxed them up to go.

My daughter and I went to this joint for Carnitas.It was not terribly busy the people were nice and the place was typical of a mom and pop outfit.We each got a carnitas burrito and a drink.The burritos came hot big and tasty. We asked for salsa and received a very nice green and red salsa. Neither were too hot both had very nice flavor. Ultimately the key here is the carnitas the meat in the burritos had tasty crunchy parts juicy and flavorful.. nice and lean!!If you like Carnitas then get down here and have some. Sorry about the mediocre picture. The food was gone fast... next time!!

The food here never disappoints! The carnitas and cueritos are consistently flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. This time, I got the sopes plate, it was delicious and filling!While many customers prefer carry-out, I personally enjoy dining in to fully savor the experience. The seating has always been hassle-free, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The prices are fair and provide great value for the quality and portions. To top it all off, the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasant one. Highly recommend for an authentic and satisfying meal!

Ordered the carnitas chilaquilles burrito. It was massive (two meals worth). The tortilla chips along with the carnitas and cooked egg went very well together. I had the salsa rojo version and it was very good. The carnitas was very tender and the egg was cooked very well too. I had sour cream on the side as I am not a fan of it but I'm sure it would go well for those who like it.The staff was super nice. After realizing we were dining in, they cut our burrito in half for us and asked us for any condiments we might've needed. I'd come back for sure to try their other pork products and tacos and whatnot. They also have lots of TVs to watch sports if you feel like finding a place to eat great food and watch games!

When I learned about Carnitas El Artista, I knew that I would have to try it as a big carnitas fan. While I'm not often in the Inglewood area, I will periodically stop by the restaurant if I'm nearby. There's indoor and outdoor seating available, and the staff are friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu.They offer a variety of pork cuts; while I've tried the mixed combo and the rib (costilla) options, I've enjoyed the general carnitas the most (either as a taco plate or combination plate with rice and beans). The meat is well-seasoned, and I will definitely be back again!

Neighborhood family owned and operated Taqueria/taco spot that specializes in Michoacán-style carnitas. They have a few type of items like burritos and tortas on the menu as well but the name of the game here is definitely the carnitas. As a matter of fact, you could even order by the pound or in bulk for get-togethers, parties, or tailgates.The folks here were very kind and friendly and were very helpful when I was ordering. I ended up getting a two taco plate which included rice and beans. The rice and beans were fine, but the carnitas was very delicious. Definitely want to try some of the other style of tacos that they provide here as well as maybe and other items like a burrito or something.Just a great option in the area and definitely on my list of places when I'm thinking about ordering for future parties, etc.

It's pretty simple, they're the best! The carnitas are juicy and flavorful and with the perfect crunch. I'm not a lengua gal, but the boys at work say it's delicious. The chilaquiles are also the best and good lawd the chilaquiles burrito is a religious experience! I often come here to reward the crew with lunch. Calling in an order is easy and they get it ready fast with no problems, it's always right, which is really important when you're feeding hard working construction guys. Every single person who tries it wants to know where did lunch come from because everything is so flavorful and good! Their green salsa verde is delicious and I hear the habanero sauce is amazing but my it's way too hot for me. The amazing staff are always friendly at the counter and even the cooks seem so happy flashing welcoming smiles that make you feel like you're at home in the family's kitchen. I'm hearing another location is coming soon, Culver City or Torrance would be a great place if you keep looking to expand ;)For parking they have a few spaces in front and a few in the mechanics just north of them. A truly great business.

During my visits here I have always been greeted/treated with amazing customer service by the girl working the front always very cheerful and helpful! I love this spot! My second time here and I ordered 1lb of the carnitas mix and a menudo. I love carnitas and this spot won my heart it's not easy finding good carnitas so I am happy to say that this is my go to spot. I get the mix which comes with the carnitas, cueritos, and buche packed with so much flavor. Just one bite of these carnitas and it brings a smile to your face! This visit I tried the menudo and it is amazing so much meat and no maíz which I prefer. Leave the Maíz for the pozole lol. While those are the only things I get from there they also have a great variety of options I have yet to try. 10/10 Carnitas estilo Michoacán

Good carnitas tacos and their beans are delicious but the rice wasn't really to my liking but I think it's a preference more than anything. Their red salsa is really good. Definitely will return.
